Well I, for one, was disappointed by the CL draw. I was rather hoping that Liverpool would have to make a long midweek journey that might derail their attempts to make top 4, but Manchester is only spitting distance away...

BBC full of hyper confident Scousers screeching 4-3. Didn't they lose 5-0 at the Etihad?

I had the following conversation with a Scouse fan of my acquaintance

Scouser: We'll go through. We did them 4-3.

Me: Didn't they do you 5-0?

Scouser: Yeah, but we only had 10 men

Me: Fair enough. I don't know why you insist on playing Henderson though.

Scouser: :shifty:

Me: :coffee:

Me: Get away from my car you thieveing little shit.

That was it.

It’s about time both Liverpool and City played someone decent in the CL this season. Kind of hope Liverpool do the oil ****s.
Oh God no, I don't personally know a single City fan, I know quite a few Liverpool,
And the media if Liverpool win....just think of the media.
Im hoping for a soul crushing battering if I'm honest.
Couldn't agree more.

At school I was bullied a lot, and the bullies were supporters of two teams - Liverpool and West Ham.
As a result I have a deep hatred for both.

I do remember one year though, probably 89 or 90, when we won at Anfield for first time in years. Boy did I enjoy standing outside one of the classes, holding up my Spurs scarf at the window.

They still go on about us being divers. The worse fans in the world imagine the media and the fans if they beat city in CL. I couldn't tolerate it. I hope they get smashed into next week by City. Bunch of pricks the lot of them.

I really want City to win, can't have those deluded twats getting any further in the competition.

One thing is for certain though and that's attacking football with what should be plenty of goals.

Both have local derby in between. But city can rotate more and although city may be able to clinch title against united in a weird way would be better for them if they did it against us after the CL tie was done. To win the title on the Sunday then play Liverpool on the Wednesday would be a massive distraction and incredible hard to stay focused.

Text from my weird friend late last night

Him: See the Champions League draw? It's our year. The only team to beat City so far this season.

Me: They also lost to Wigan. And smashed you 5-0.

Him: Exactly. If Wigan can beat them so can we. Salah is going to run riot. He's only 6 behind Ronaldo in the golden boot for CL.

Hahaha your friend is brilliant!

After they beat Porto 5 nil, a dipper at work said "we'll definitely reach the final" he wasn't in yesterday so it'll be interesting to see what his reaction is to the draw.

He does crack me up. They really have no sense of their own delusion.

  1. If United can delay City's title celebrations, I want us to do the same.

My ideal scenario is they beat city 3 - 0 and then get hammered 7-0
