I'm just tired of all this next season we will fall back without "major investment". This has been said season after season but yet we continue to perform. Having said that I think there will be a good bit of investment from Levy.

I'm not, and never have been on the "major" investment band wagon. I'm on the "smart" investment or even "smart integration" band wagon. I'd have rather we'd have not spent the 80m (plus wages) on Sissoko, Aurier and Moura at all and either bought one very good player that actually improved us and used players like KWP, Omomah, Edwards, etc to fill out those squad/rotation roles.

I wasn't overly impressed with Liverpool's purchases of Mane, Salah, OC, VanDyke at the time/cost they were made, but I have to say, they have all worked well and in the case of the first three, fit exactly Klopp's explosive brand of football. And I know Keita is absolutely perfect for that system, he's aggressive, wins and transitions the ball really well. Just what those forwards need and again, suits Klopp's ethos perfectly.

There are some really sad people out there.....(n)(n).....Karius death threats....
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44275380

Thankfully the police are now looking into it & are taking it very seriously.

As for Liverpoo / Henderson, I came across this on Facebook yesterday. I think it says all that needs to be said.....

When a young Davinson Sanchez scored an own goal against Southampton, captain on the day Harry Kane came straight up to him to pick him back up, dust him off and get him to keep going.

When Kane scored the equaliser later in that game, instead of celebrating, he ran straight to Sanchez as if to say "you can forget about it now, it's been cancelled out."

A true leader.

Last night when young Karius made those mistakes, he cut a lonely figure. Sat there on the pitch, by himself, just to reflect on his mistake. Not one Liverpool player, let alone Henderson went to console and encourage him. In fact, it was left to the Madrid players to console him at full time.

Henderson looked at him like he was a complete and utter piece of dirt.

That's why one of these "captains" is leading his country at the World Cup, and why one of them apparently wasn't even second choice.

I do, my friend, but it got dozens of “funny” ratings in here!

To be fair, although that particular tweet wasn't one of his best, Soccer Guy is a pretty bloody funny account to follow & comes out with some gems. I like how he calls Fellaini , "Marijuana Felony".. And these weren't too bad either.

I barely even know where to start with this. What the actual fuck are you talking about? How have I "arrogantly assumed" that in any way shape or form? When did I ever say that all Spanish fans watch the premiership? I haven't even said anything about fans whatsoever.

This has absolutely nothing to do with fans. Your original point was that it's better for Liverpool to win because then Madrid are more likely to buy Salah, I disagreed with that by saying that I'm sure Madrid have seen how good he is throughout the season so won't be basing whether or not they sign him on this one game.

At what point does that have anything to do with fans? You are aware that fans don't vote for who the club signs or some shit, right? They have professional scouts etc. who identify players that they could sign and whose job it is to know who is and isn't in form across the various leagues around the world. I'm fairly sure those people had heard of Mo Salah before watching him in the CL final given that he's been the most prolific player in the most-watched league in the world for fuck sake
Not going to keep feeding your trolling. Read your previous comments about Madrid fans already knowing who he is. That's my last reply..

I'm not trolling at all, if anything it's the other way round. I've never once mentioned anything about fans knowing who Salah is. My original comment in full was:
I just don't see why you think that after everything he's done this season, one single game will determine whether or not Real or Barca rate him or not. Your point just makes no sense, sorry mate.

More than likely this game will have no baring on whether or not Salah leaves but if anything at all it would be the other way round. If Liverpool lose maybe he'd realise he's never going to be able to compete with the likes of Real Madrid with a club like Liverpool so he should go there to win. I'm not saying that's right but it makes far more sense than what you're trying to say.

Show me where I mention anything about fans at all, let alone anything about them knowing/not knowing who Salah is and "arrogantly assuming" that everyone in Spain follows the premier league. You're talking out of your arse mate as is quite clear from looking back at my posts, the things you're accusing me of saying I haven't even hinted at let alone said, so I don't know who you think you are to call me arrogant or a troll.

If you're going to throw around accusations and then when you get proved to be completely and utterly wrong, rather than admit your mistake and apologise for misquoting me, your only response is to call me a troll and refuse to respond then I think it's pretty obvious who the troll is in this situation.

Nearly 400k signatures on this petition. Now I know Liverpool fans are a special bunch but in all honesty I’d be interested to see most of the names on this petition.... I’d imagine for every scouser there’s a hundred Egyptians. Remember when Ghaly was here, there were a fair few salty Egyptians who signed up on here and after his outburst they went mental. There was no reasoning with them. I don’t like to brand a whole nation based on a few but it seems to me that THEY’RE ALL MENTALISTS!

When I had a look when it was about 350k the names coming up saying just signed we're 99.9% sounded foreign and my first thought was egyptions also.
