This is the team that under the same manager did a lap of honour for a mid season 2.2 home draw against the mighty West Brom.
Embarrasing themselves is just what they do.

The beeb are now running an ‘article’ questioning how did he play on with concussion:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44367148
Yet in another article inspired by King Ramos in the ninth paragraph they state it was possible an injury affected his performance:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44374242
So what is it BBC? I have to say he made a couple of decent saves which I’ve never seen him pull off before but I’ve seen him throw the ball in the back of the net as well.
Does that mean any blow to the head was actually performance enhancing....

Amazing that they are falling for the bullshit.

Yes, concussions are dangerous. As we've seen in other sports, namely the NFL, boxing and even professional wrestling, the long term effects can be incredibly damaging. More should be done to protect players from head injuries, should go without saying.

It's perfectly possible that Karius suffered a head injury during the game, but the statement is far from conclusive yet it's now being treated as fact. They just can't lose a match fair and square any more. Kane and Lamela dived, cue months of that even though neither did. Karius was injured, that's why Real Madrid beat them. Alright. Sure.

So what is it BBC?
Without labouring the point, Dan Walker and Sally Nugent gave us a clue on Breakfast TV a couple of weeks ago, when they revealed that they had both been guests on LFC's open-top bus celebration after the club won the CL in Istanbul in 2005. Bearing in mind that neither of these two had been exactly household names in BBC Sport in 2005, it indicates just how assiduously LFC "grooms" up and coming journalists, in the expectation of positive coverage later in their careers.

Karius was down max about 10 seconds. Got to his feet unaided. Showed absolutely no signs of nursing a head injury. Infact he started an argument with the red almost immediately. At a rough guess in a PL game you get 1 or 2 head incidence worse than karius. So let’s say roughly 500 last season. Can’t think of one story last season of a player suffering a delayed concussion. Leave you to make your own conclusions.

Actually, that would be a stronger case wouldn't it.

"The mistakes we expect, but the fact he could pull off some decent saves gave us cause for concern, and it turns out he was concussed."

I'd be so embarrassed if this was happening about Hugo. They lost, the game is done, over, finished. Your keeper is just a bit shit. Move on and get over it :ROFLMAO:

Ramos petition, concussion petition didn’t work. Third time lucky - Southgates fault!

How do you "lose" something that was never yours?

Henderson, Dier and Kane had all been given the armband leading up to the WC - there was never a clear front-runner (though there were reports of Kane being named last fall, but then his injury kept him out of the squad).

Firmino called Ramos an idiot in his press conference for his comments yesterday, which is expected. He then went on to say he’s been ‘joking’ with Allison in the training camp about joining them and saying he’d be really good for Liverpool.

That must be nice for Mignolet and in particular, Karius to hear. If he said that about Neymar then there’s no guarantee who’d be dropped out of the front 3 if he came, so he’s not offending anyone in particular. When you say it about a goalie however......

Agree. Pretty classless to be honest. Then again what do you expect from that club.

It's gonna be really awkward if they can't shift him to anyone given how open the club, players, and fans seem to be about blaming him for everything and wanting him gone.
