I don't really agree, our record used to be very poor against Liverpool especially at Anfield, still is. They were so used to steamrolling us that when we started finishing higher than them, it really put their noses out of joint. I started to really dislike them as a club when fans, players and management backed Suarez with their stupid t shirts.
I think generally West Ham regard us more than rivals than we do them. They aren't really a danger to us and haven't been competitive in the league or cup for a long time. They are annoying like a fly or a cockroach or a guy that has small man syndrome.

Agree. I hate Liverpool and their arrogant fans, but I don't consider them to be a "rival" in that sense. As you say, Arsenal, Chelsea then West Ham are our traditional rivals, in that order.

We've always had a rivalry with West Ham. Obviously our main rivalry is with Arsenal and theirs with Millwall, but we've also got a rivalry with each other. It's not a completely one-way thing on their part, it's just that from our perspective the rivalry has lost some of its spice because for the past decade or so we've been considerably better than them.

I reckon Niveapool have only targeted us as a 'rival' of sorts as the Manc teams plus Arse and Chelsea have overshadowed them for many years.
They saw us as a soft touch in the past and continue gloating but they haven't realised we have risen above them.

My utter hatred of Liverpool has nothing whatsoever to do with the internet. I grew up in North London in the 70s with a school playground full of 'Liverpool Fans' who probably had no idea where Liverpool was. I had to put up with the shit they gave me about Spurs' relegation and the bloody 7-0 loss in 78. As for Ronnie Whelan in the 1982 Milk Cup final ...
I also like Klopp. He's passionate and very animated especially in his interviews. They appear to have identified their targets early and making concerted efforts to sign them up. I think they will have a good season and i see them in the top 3 next season.

He refused to shake hands with Israeli players. The level of shit he and his family back home could have gotten from extremists may have had something to do with it.
