if the thread your reading starts to make no sense scroll to the bottom of the page & it shows reveal ignored content or something like that,, so you can have a look to see what people are saying, I prefer to ignore the member I've done that with, it's good for the soul

Watching Henderson step up to take that penalty i had a feeling he would miss... A big part of me wanted him to miss... I wonder what the dippers would be saying now about their "True England captain".

I was naturally relieved when the Colombian then missed his penalty... I didnt feel so guilty about wanting Henderson to miss.

Same here. I said to my wife “that’s karma for being a prick to Karius at the end of the CL final” everyone can make mistakes & he showed his true colours at the end of that game. Not captain material.
Also he showed a lack of maturity putting his head into the Columbian player tonight

Are you English? How could you want Henderson to miss if you are?

I'd not even want Jack Wilshere to miss a penalty in that situation..

Is there any way, after Brexit finally happens, that Scouseland can stay in the EU so that we can build a massive fuck off wall around the dump answer set up a checkpoint Charlie to keep the fuckers in?!!!!

No. No. Nope. Uh uh. Nooooo. Leave the EU if you must but don't leave us in the turd with that lot. Give'em to Trump.

England comes before any of that for me.
Nah! Not me. I have been indifferent to England results and the only reason why I want them to do well on this occasion is because of our Spurs boys. And before you ask, I am British born (Birmingham) and a tax payer

I don't understand wanting him to miss unless you wanted England to lose. I remember him juggling the ball as he approached the penalty area, it didn't look confident.

Remember the camera close up on his face, and he looked terrified as he placed the ball on the spot. And so it played out...Ospina read him perfectly. Felt for him. And we're all playing for one team now.

Kane, Alli, Trippier, Dier, Rose were all rooting for him. Why bother to even watch the national team if you're not interested in them doing well.

Okay i dont wish to spam this thread. Ive done that way too many times before.

I didnt want any other player to miss except him. But was mighty relieved when the Colombian missed the subsequent spot kick.... How have you missed that part.

I still screamed and shouted with joy for every other goal we converted AND especially proud when Trippier converted and screamed with elation when Dier did.
