Plus, On placement, Henderson is unlucky it was saved. However it was a) a proper side foot which is always dangerous and b) there's a reason the keeper is across that far to make the save - JH opened his body up to put it in that corner and it was so telegraphed that it allowed the keeper to go early.

So, in conclusion, Scousers, it was a shit penalty.

Exactly. Just because it was closer to the post doesn't mean it was a better penalty. Henderson absolutely telegraphed which side he was going to and then hit a weak shot at a comfortable height.

Anyway, as others have said, the only thing that actually matters is that Dier's one went in

You've been far too polite there, it's fucking stupid if you support your national team but want a rival player to play bad, the likelihood that if said player plays bad then the team don't win, ever thought of that.

Poor deluded Tim.

A good penalty is one that counts as scoring a goal. A bad penalty is one that didn't go in the goal.

Send me some money, I'll change everything.....

Seriously though I was going to go on Twitter and reply to Tim- But decided he is just a narcissist looking for Internet action, the rest of his stuff is in a similar vein.

Henderson's was a good penalty and a great save though.

It isn't always great penalties that score and it's often shit ones that don't, 80% of the time it comes down to the keeper going the right way that makes a good or bad one.

It was a very decent pen in terms of direction but it was at the wrong height, also his body shape gave his direction away a bit.

Still amazes me that players stick the ball at that height when they go for the corners...I know he don't take em normally but he's a pro and in training it should le drilled into them...high or on the deck nothing in between.

Agree on keepers guessing the right way but if you keep em low/high and hard enough you can still score.

I've always been club over country but that doesn't mean I want players from other clubs to play badly for England in a tournament.

Only Liverpool fans could make a penalty missed by one of their players better than one that was scored. Think about that, it’s madness.

Reminds me of a match thread a couple of years ago when Harry scored a pen against Bournemouth when we beat them 5 1 or something. The penalty went in, although wasn’t amazingly well hit it was good enough to score and people were moaning it was a shit penalty yet he scored. It was madness then. So actually maybe it’s not just Liverpool fans!

He refused to shake hands with Israeli players. The level of shit he and his family back home could have gotten from extremists may have had something to do with it.
Or maybe he really doesn’t like Jews. Of what you say is right then he is being controlled by them. What happens if he has to play with an Israeli player. Just give in the cold shoulder. (No pun intended )

I know they probably have agents and 'people' advising them, but who the fuck thought making a cringey video like this would be the best way forward?

Should be keeping his head down after the calamitous CL final, not whoring himself out like the next David Beckham.

He is obviously that way inclined, even appears to have his own branding for some reason.

Klopp coming out this morning saying that Karius was 100% affected by that collision with Ramos.

Does this point to them not buying a new keeper?

Owners sending him for checks at a friendly hospital, vague language around the concussion from the Dr followed by certainty from the manager, and this weird promotional video from the player. It's like a relaunch for a failing brand to convince people it's worth investing in.

Or does it point to them trying to sell him by saying he isn't crap, he was injured, and look, he's fine now.
