These signings aren't confirmed yet are they but if they get Fekir and Alisson then they've had a great window. Hard to know if they will all integrate well but imo on paper they are a CB away from being serious challengers.

I can’t see them spending another £110m it would take to get both. My guess Shaqiri is the Fekir back up, and they’ve diverted all the money to GK.

Yeah Shaqiri makes no sense with Fekir arriving with him. Both left footed and similar in style.

I'd imagine Origi and or Brewster will be the back up striker.

Can't see them being able to afford all this and a CB as I don't think they have that many valuable players to shift.

I think Klopp might bring Gomez back to CB and use Clyne and TAA as the right backs. I rate Gomez too so it does make me a bit worried if they get Alisson.

Fekir imo would potentially come in as a first choice striker

I think if Liverpool get a good goalkeeper they would be a possible title challenging team

Fair play to them, so far they’ve had a sensational window and are looking very strong going into the new season

I get the whole ‘be patient’ but while they’re out there sorting midfield and defence, we’re still struggling with Grealish.

Wrap it up however you want, we’re behind

I suppose the best time to gauge this is when the season kicks off although I don't disagree our transfer business is frustrating and tedious and unlikely to throw up anyone exciting but it is what it is and will not change.

Fair point, but I think this summer for them is different to prior, and especially the likes of Everton last season and West Ham this. Liverpool are paying serious money for top players. This is a Man City esque window.

That said, £66m fee could weigh heavily on Alisson, especially if he has a ropey start.

They are showing real intent and no need to clear the decks first either very impressive, I reckon they might be a credible threat to city this season at least if they can stay closer to them they might have a chance.
