'Whoever we get, doesn't matter. We're Liverpool fc. They should be worried about us.'
To be fair to them regarding Pot 2, they walloped Porto last year, beat Roma last year (destroyed them at Anfield), Dortmund were disappointing in both our group and their subsequent Europa League ties, and Napoli have lost their manager who was central to their style of play. Obviously they can't be drawn against ourselves or Utd (although I suspect they would welcome Utd if it was possible). That leaves Shakhtar who are often underestimated because nobody follows their league.
And regarding the second comment, they are head and shoulders above everyone else in Pot 3, so while some teams may not be 'worried' about Liverpool, they will be very keen to avoid them in the draw.
As is often the case with Liverpool fans, their confidence justifiable, but its the manner in which they are so dismissive of esteemed opposition which irks and smacks of arrogance.
Personally think if they got drawn against Atletico, Shakhtar and Inter they might find that rather tough, but I'll be very surprised if they don't get through to the knockouts again.
100% this.As is often the case with Liverpool fans, their confidence justifiable, but its the manner in which they are so dismissive of esteemed opposition which irks and smacks of arrogance.

When you combine their arrogance with their entitlement/victim culture and general bitterness and chippiness, you've got a very good reason to dislike them intensely. I'm sure not all Pool fans or Scousers in general are like that, but they do nowt to disprove or prevent the stereotyping.
