If I’d been in a coma and woke up just now, I’d think either a) Liverpool won the league or b) Liverpool were about to win the league and there are no other teams challenging them.

The way everyone on Sky is chatting is genuinely bemusing. The main presenter just said something along the lines of the fans can’t wait for the trophy to come back to Anfield, all they have to do is win their last few games. He must’ve forgotten about City.

And Jamie Carragher should be banned from Liverpool matches. Genuinely embarrassing with his tiny fucking dancer bollocks. They had to ban Phil Thompson from doing them on soccer Saturday and that was only reporting on games, Carragher is fucking commentating during live matches! Biased spitting wankpuffin.

I think outside Spurs, the happiest I’d be in football is if Wolves beat Liverpool on the final day to hand the title to City. Won’t happen because Liverpool are having a Leicester season where every single decision is going their way and hardly any injuries etc. I don’t want City to beat us but I believe we can afford to lose one game anyway as long as we win our others.

The only way I’d happily suffer them winning the league is if we won the CL because a) it would be an absolutely astonishing achievement obviously and b) it would take the shine right off their league win.

Yeah I know, massively unlikely.....

This is actually quite incredible when you see the standard of teams Liverpool had to beat to get to their first 4 European cup finals. Was probably harder to win the FA cup back in the day. Sorry didn’t wanna type out again.

But weren’t they all the best of the best back then ? (Champions )

I read that a red flare was thrown into Chelsea fans just after first goal yesterday. Pictures in the Mail. Young boy with special needs had to be seen by paramedics as it landed near him. Police are investigating. Will that be the same police who investigated last seasons assault by hundreds of fans on the Man City bus before champ lge game. 200 bottles etc were thrown at the bus. That is a fact. To date no one charged...no one even arrested even though well covered by cameras.
Of course the bus route was given out by Merseyside police twitter on the day.

Anyone know who is on the panel that decides if it was a dive? I'm guessing Kenny and Jamie will be the former manager and player!

Aren't they supposed to review potential dives on a Monday?

Dives are only reviewed by the panel if the ref falls for it and gives a penalty.

Thanks, I thought that was the case but I didn't see it mentioned on the PL website.

"Players who dive or feign injury could face a two-match suspension starting from this season.
Footage from the weekend's fixtures will be reviewed each Monday and any player found guilty of simulation will be banned.
The three-man panel will consist of one former match official, a former manager and an ex-player.
The Football Association will only be able to impose the ban if the panel's decision is a unanimous one.
If a player is found guilty of deceiving an official or admits to the charge, the yellow or red card given to the opposing player can be rescinded."

That's interesting, so far only given penalty incidents have been reviewed so I thought it was mentioned in the rule. So in theory Salah can be punished but of course he won't be.
