It's beyond ridiculous if they're buying Mahrez for about £50m+ because Sane is out for 6 weeks.
This is just getting silly, one of their players gets injured so they are allegedly trying to spend £50-60m on cover for a few weeks.
They’re going to kill the PL at this rate
We should tap up all of their talented kids immediately. Obviously they have no career prospects at city
Agree, just posted in the Non-Spurs Transfers Thread that we should throw some big money on the table for Foden.
One way to fuck up a promising career for an attacker: Sign for City and get loaned to a Pulis coached club. Not like Jack Harrison had a choice in the matter, to be fair. CFG owned him anyway.
This is just another way for them to get a profit on a player. Take a player from one of your B squads, loan him out, sell him following summer for £10m+. The Manchester City way. Did it with Mooy. Doing it with Harrison. Trying to do it with Mix Diskerud(who is so awful that he couldnt even make it in MLS so doubt that'll work for them).
Financial fair play LOL!
For the summer and this month, Transfermarkt says they spent €311. Mahrez will bring that to €358 or so. Only sold €95m worth. FFP is a joke.
Chelsea have been doing this for years now and they've made a ton doing it.
Pathetic club who’s owners are the worst thing to happen to English football and football in general for years imo
Fans of other clubs, both home and away fixtures should consider boycotting City fixtures. Imagine the reaction from the media and premier league when grounds are empty! Explain that one away
What makes it worse is nobody in the media ever seems to really highlight it.
Pep’s a fucking fraud
He's obviously a great manager who has been somewhat fortunate with where he's started his career, and he hasn't looked back since. City this season are playing incredible football that they simply weren't last season. Would he keep West Brom up? Maybe, maybe not. But then I doubt that Pardew would win the league with City.
since Roman bought the Chavs.
Absolutely ridiculous, their fans must even be embarrassed?
It makes a mockery of the sport.
They're not embarrassed in the slightest. Had some weirdo calling me salty earlier on Twitter because I dared questioning it.
Of course they're not. They're ranting against Financial Fair Play
That's what people think we should do on here lol
Oh the irony!
That was truly bad to be fair but this lot are far worse.
Roman, in a strange way, is a little likeable. Sure he’s dodgy as fuck but anyone who can come from absolutely nothing to such wealth has to be admired in a weird way. This lot have had everything presented on a plate and then some
Not when you earn that wealth impoverising your fellow country men and stealing their resources.
They've really become the club i thought they would when oil man bought them. I just think it's become a toxic club that represents everything I hate about modern football.
Agreed. In them stakes though, he’s light years behind City’s mob.
Maybe I mean Roman is the lesser of two evils
