Great for us now. They cant win the league at Wembley as even if they beat us Utd play after. Also no guard of honour for them from us.

Even better, when we stuff them they will really be getting pissed off and who knows maybe a little worried!! Alright pissed off at least.

As said above though it is good teams now are seeing that they are not unbeatable.

The reason I liked the result was the classless comments from Pep about Pogba. The response wa those two quick fire goals. Fantastic comeuppance

I think a lot of the blame for Man City has to be on guardiola’s shoulders.

He gets sent off in their biggest game of the season. That’s dreadful from a manager. Just pathetic.

Really pleased they won’t be winning the CL. Don’t want the dippers to win it either, but at least they aren’t being financially doped by a brutal dictatorship.

So the Quadruple is now down to a probable double.

I'd have taken that for us - provided we stuck to our principles and morals along the way.

For all the talk of them "only" winning the double, they can afford to lose their next two games and still break the Premier League points record (currently on 84 points, record is 95, potentially could get to 102). There's also a good chance that they'll get the record number of goals in a Premier League season (currently on 90, record is 103, so that's 13 goals from 6 games needed, and we are the only team in that run of six games that aren't currently in the bottom eight).

It's not been as good a season as it looked like it might be at one point, but if they set a Premier League record for number of points and goals scored, as well as winning a second trophy on top then it's still a hugely successful season that will stand out in the history books.

Meh so what. They can only win the league once in a season. The rest is for nerds.

Having seen their last three consecutive defeats, I'm very confident we can beat them this weekend. They really can't defend.

Yesterday they looked so nervous. Sure they got the early goal but after that there was just mass panic trying to score and repeating the same failed attack time and again. Liverpool looked much more organised back there than earlier in the season so it was going to be hard for them to score.

And yet they were literally inches and a blind ref away from pulling it off in the first half. I think though, that they are really fragile mentally and now they are in a downward spiral. I said two months ago that they will not beat us, and I stand by my words.

Pep looks mentally fragile too. He’s mostly had it go his way his career, now the going has got a bit tough he looks like he’s cracking up. The way he ran onto the pitch at half time was pathetic. It wasn’t in an intimidating Fergie style it was in the frenzied, rambling style of a young girl who’s having a go at her mate’s ex after he’s just dumped her. He looked stupid and has done a few times this season.

The mental thing is definitely there. I won’t boo Walker on Saturday but he is 100% a player who if ruffled will make an error. So if he plays we should make the atmosphere uncomfortable for him.

I didn't see the game. The text is from The Times.

UEFA don't really like Man City, and vice versa. They were fined for booing the CL anthem, fined for incidents in a game against Monaco last season, fined 49m over FFP (33m then refunded).

The fine for booing the anthem was ridiculous. It's not like it's offending or disrespecting anyone, it's a completely made up anthem just for the competition with nonsensical mixed language lyrics. It basically just says something like "The best, The Champions, We are the Champions" over and over in English, French and German

It's an adaption of zadok the priest. Which was composed for the coronation of george 2nd.

The tune is based on it but the words are just like "We're the best, we're the champions" over and over in English, French and German basically. My point was it's not like it's disrespecting some country and their fallen war heroes or something by booing it, it's just a gimmick that UEFA have made up as part of the marketing/branding or whatever you want to call it.
