That's probably a top six team. None of them started on Saturday.

You have to accept that what City have done is remarkable achieving the 2nd, 3rd and 4th trophies on their list.
I just can't help feeling a little bit smug.:)

Definitely a champions league spot team and could even win prem with that lot.

It's just expected Man City win things with the disgusting amount of money they've had to throw around.

It's like - and I'm gonna go into deep analogy here - when you had a game genie for your NES games giving you infinite lives (especially playing the first Mega Man game, which of course I never used a game genie for... *cough* :cautious:).

Though its funny, it doesn't really give the title the respect it deserves when you drop the trophy. There not even bothered

This is my favourite line. Sums it up perfectly: "Whether they like it or not, most people see their treble as more transaction than triumph".
The guys on the Totally Football Show made the point that City have now officially become one of the bad boys in the eyes of the majority, reasoning that most people were willing to find it funny that they were the noisy neighbours upsetting Ferguson, establishing parity and eventually eclipsing United, but even most non-Mancs now don't find City funny, or a breath of fresh air, or anything else. They are the new titan, the one everyone wants to see fail (except when they're up against Liverpool). And City fans, press officers, manager and staff in general are really wound up about it, to the point that they can barely even enjoy their success, which for me makes it quite funny.

I would argue that they've been like this ever since Abu Dhabi took over, and that it's taken a decade too long for others to follow suit, but never mind that now.
