£300k?! I'm sure fining them less than De Bruyne's weekly wage will teach 'em.

One day the footballing authorities will realise fining clubs owned by billionaires is pointless.

Oh there's a point. Profit related bonuses for uefa board.

I thought it would be ban with a suspended period, say 5 years.
At least that would act as a deterrent. I’m astonished at a fine; do these people seriously realise how laughable that is?

Wonder if the press can be encouraged to contact Pep this week about this? EVERY DAY should do it.

What was the difference between what city have done and what Chelsea did? Genuine question as I haven't read up much on either

Took this from the chavs forum:

"Im gonna stop the theory of the world doesnt like Chelsea right now before everyone who comes in here moaning about how its not fair that we got a tranfer ban and city only gets a fine

We had almost 100 breaches and City only got caught for a few , UEFA warned us a couple years ago but we continued to do it anyway... this is city first offence."

It’s a joke, same when they fine players and coaches. It makes a nonsense of the rules really.

and most importantly they admitted it.

I'm sure they do realise it. But if they're being bribed to "go easy" on City then obviously they can't let them off scott free but giving them a meaninglessly low fine ticks both boxes in terms of acting like they've clamped down on it for public appearances sake, while also fulfilling their end of the deal they've made with City's "fixers".

The magic of football I suppose

That might be true but the difference between a ban and a week of De Bruyne’s wages is a bit comical

All that dirty money spent on top players, you’d have thought the sheikh wouldn’t have forgotten to buy a few refs... :ROFLMAO:

I would not be surprised to see some of the clear and obvious errors go in their favor in the next couple of games. I do think we got lucky with the Lamela wrestling match, I've seen those given before, but the ref was looking right at it.

I would put money on, that they get a penalty from any similar situation in the next few weeks.

Not really. They aren't favoured like Liverpool and Utd by media or the refs.

With his hair dyed like that Otamendi looks like the unwanted twin of Sergio Aguero that they keep in the attic and feed buckets of fish heads.

a moot point perhaps but their money is unlikely to be any dirtier than than the 1 billion we just spent on our shiny new stadium. it all flows through the same squeaky clean financial institutes!
