To be fair the money hasn't gone to their heads and at least they aint bitter:

Sané, Aguero, Ilkay were shocking. The team selection suggests to me that Pep wasn't too arsed and I can't blame him. When everyone, including the referee, is desperate to see you lose, the competition doesn't deserve a team as good as ours. Sterling probably should've played at some point. Having said that we were far better than them even with ten men which is a fucking embarrassment for Wigan. No financial disadvantage can excuse not even being nearly as good with an extra player.

Delph should never have been sent off but I'm not at all convinced that made much difference to the outcome. We just suffered from a lack of intelligent movement.

At the weekend we'll be beating Arsenal at Wembley and most of those in the stadium tonight won't even be watching Wigan play, so fuck it.

They are a bunch of You know what's. But, I don' see a problem with the Aguero incident. Tons of Wigan fans in a pitch invasion can't have been a particularly relaxing moment. Perhaps the Wigan fan threatened something?

Anyway. More inappropriate was Peps behaviour. Not a particularly classy response. At least our main man was complimentary and humble about the league 1 opposition. Poor from a major influence.

So glad they are out. No doubt they were the hardest obstacle left and it goes to show that sometimes, your money cannot beat passion.

This is why I love the FA cup still. Giant slayings and upsets. You don't get This anywhere else really. The english FA should be promoting the cup and all.it's merits. Love it.

Yeah, we don’t know what that fan said to Aguero.

Pathetic behaviour from the City fans though, just because their precious superstars can’t do the quadruple.

This is a win for football not just Wigan, City are a cancer of a football team, plastic fans, oil tycoon corrupt owner, and just buy there way to trophies, got to be stopped, remember when these clowns were in the 3rd division
I've got to pull you up on the plastic fans bit mate. Unlike Chavski these have always had a strong following, getting over 30,000 fans regularly when they were in Div 3. The Chavs used to get 10,000 in Div 2. Granted both have now acquired plastic fans because of their "bought" success but the blue half of manchester ,until recently, was followed by a hardcore group of proper fans, just saying (y)

Didn't the old Chelsea get 6,000 a few times? I think they did. Bunch of worthless tossers. Sorry, small bunch of worthless tossers.

Whereas to be fair to them, Man City are a reasonable-sized bunch of tossers.

I agree with that, they do have a fanbase, but I also see fans all over twitter from London, overseas etc claiming to support City, when they probs hardly knew of them 15 years ago

With success comes more fans. Spurs are starting to see it in the States. New fans means they have not been around for all the history. Usually these fans come in 2 types:
  • Those that embrace and support the club for the long term (everyone was a new fan at some point if only by birth)
  • Those that are just looking for a winner and will jump to another club after a few bad years.
For me, I started hating Arsenal first because of some of their fans over here and thus started rooting for Spurs. Have been a fan for a little under 15 years but at least I think I started for a good reason.

Fucking sore losers... fucking hell. Come on, they are so fucking rich, yet they did not show any class at all.

Yes, I am looking especially at Pep that arrogant jerk for not setting a good example.

I prefer it to the champions league in terms of excitement over the years. Always have. Desperate to win it again.

I think Aguero's claiming the Wigan fan spat on him. In which case, it'd be a terrible decision from the FA to punish him.

Pep, on the other hand, humiliated himself and his club last night. If not for who they were playing on Sunday, I'd love to see him melt down again in a cup final.

FA taking no action on Aguero which I expected, seems logical and the right call.

Imagine if it was Dele though, Electric Chair

As suspected no talk about pep disgrace behaviour last nigh on talksport. Joke, but they can dedicate slots to Dele. After Durham rant on spurs last night let's see what he has to say about Pep later

What did he actually say, can't find a link?

uae..abhu Dhabi,,,quarter. etc these countries have something in common and that is that they are all very rich they all built there countries infrastructure on what can be loosely described as slave labour with no health and safety measures infact no care at all for its workers in there building of there new modern countries the fact that many thousands lost there lives is lost on the westerners that holiday and play sports such as cricket and golf there .
I also believe that these arab countries that have such close relationships with the western world and culture should be because of these relationships with the west prime targets for isis;hamas;the other anti western world terrorist;s.
That no such threat to any of them has occurred can only make you wonder why not? my serious belief is that these terrorist groups are paid by use;abhu Dhabi;quatar to steer clear of them and so they are funding terrorism in the western world.
therefore it is my belief that the Man City supporters are infact supporting the very people that have helped to fund the Manchester bombers still never mind a winning football club is the only thing that matters; morals and principles and doing the right thing can go to hell and lets just keep on winning football matches

^^ Let's keep it to football matters.

The right call was made by the FA not to charge Aguero, and from the videos there's nothing more than a few heated words exchanged in the tunnel between managers.

Pep has come out of this a tad embarrassed and shown he's so far away from Poch in terms of class that it's untrue.

A few weeks ago I posted the article at the bottom of my post on Twitter.
Within an hour some City fan, who seemed to think he was a reporter (he clearly wasn't), came after me. Saying that what I posted was lies, etc.

We went back and forth for a few posts, in which I criticised the club and their loan policy of the younger players. The moron then sent me the following message "I will be sure to pass your posts on to the club" with the authority as if he was the Sheik's personal spokesperson............then he blocked me!!!

I thought about his reaction after Monday's result and I laughed...........or maybe he'll send the hitman around??!

The press definitely are giving guardiola an easier time of it than they did last season. What we want is for them to get on his back again because I suspect that will help him make up his mind not to sign a new contract. For a man who has had as much success in life that he has he seems to have no self confidence if he's not being praised 100% of the time. I find it bizarre because he's obviously an arrogant man at the same time.

Hopefully he leaves when his next contract is up. I won't miss him.
