More interesting reading (hopefully true). According to BBC Gossip this morning (via El Chiringuito) states..

German midfielder Leroy Sane, 23, and Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, 22, are just two out of eight players that have asked to leave Manchester City in the summer.

Obviously probably total nonsense but it does create a nice warm feeling inside to think there may be internal problems there & players are looking to leave.

Is there a player in their entire squad that wouldn't improve ours?
I think those two probably just want to start games. They're too good to be bench warmers.

Without VAR we would be out, so.
Can you be sure of that? Because the ref was ready to give llorente's goal before he was advised to take another look, and linesmen have been told to leave tight offside calls for VAR to check, it is very possible that the linesmen would have flagged for offside
Well, I doubt the linesman would have the balls to call that offside at that point in the match.

yeah, i am pretty sure Sterlings winner would have counted. Augero was inches offside, more than reasonable "human error" range. and the focus wasn't on him at that moment.

we would all be saying bad luck, Eriksen should have cleared it, his mistake cost us. but we got to move on and focus on qualifying next season.

i agree that Llorente's goal would have been given, but we would have lost 5-3. so yeah...

THANK GOD for VAR!!!

There must be some issue with Sane. First he was excluded from the German team for the WC, now he was basically excluded for two huge games for City.

Gabriel Jesus just isn't that good imo. Well, he is good, but not at the level City wants. He was probably bought to succeed Aguero.

Sane missed the world cup because he'd been poor for Germany when he was called up.

Pep doesn't seem to trust him though. I'd love to have him at Tottenham, but there's no way we could get him.

Yeah. He was called out by Kroos in the summer too. Poor attitude and all that.

There might be some truth with Sane. Pep has not started him in recent important matches. I think a lot of people were surprised that he didn’t start in both CL matches against us and only used in the last few minutes of both matches when it was quite clear that City needed a player of his quality against us.

I also think it could be a disciplinary issue with Sane as he also wasn’t selected for the German NT squad in the last WC.

I think he’s a sulky bellend but potentially a great player. His attitude probably will be the only thing to hold him back. 12 months ago he reminded me of early Bale, he needs to get that back.

We all know poch would get a player like sane to fulfil his potential. Dream signing. Would be in-sane!
I've been fantasising about us making a cheeky bid for him. Poch would turn him into the silkiest of silky monsters, I reckon.

Ole is right about City being a dirty side. If anyone argues look at all the fouls they did on Kane in the first leg. Pep may not want to admit it but he has had to resort to cheating in the Premier League because he does not have the German National Team in his squad or the best midfielder partnership ever with the best player in the world leading the line.

Brilliant player when on form but seems to fall into the "believes his own hype" category a bit. For whatever reason he seems to have fallen out of favour with Pep and before the world cup there were questions about his attitude and application in training etc. Obviously you have to take it with a pinch of salt but we've all seen players before who've wasted their potential by becoming arrogant and lazy and there's certainly warning signs about Sane already.

Pundits say how this is the greatest Premier League team of all time. This may be true but everything they have done has been bought. They have fielded just one player this season who has been at the club before the age of 15. Every player they field now costs 50m+. How can you judge a team that exists in a different ball park to every other premier league team ever.

Spot on. Manchester City are everything that is wrong about football. Sadly, it’s likely too late to stop the rot. Anything below complete dominance is a failure to them now.

Man City & their wealth have emulated 90's-00's Real Madrid perfectly & more, they have assembled the best players & mangers of the time and are unsurprising winning. They have surpassed Real in that they have Galacticos on their bench where as Real didn't really & their manager isn't pressured into selling lynchpin players like Makele.
