I think it looks alright tbf. Down that way it'll 'blend' a lot better than a modern steel & glass structure like ours which would be an eyesore & out of sync with the local area

Difficult to see much detail though
Its not one that looks nice from the air but from the ground the renders for what they have planned is really nice imo

Here is some of the more detailed images

I love the aqueduct walkway and the use of bricks(which should have been used on our exterior especially given the nature of the current stadium and surrounding areas.

In terms of a stadium it will feel unique which isn't something you say a lot about stadiums especially modern ones and I think it will be one that grows on a lot of people especially for further generations who will think its a great example of an old stadium(even though it isn't)

I don't like the roof especially the use of compression/tension ring design but I do like the interior bowl

If ours is described as a toilet seat, this is like the toilet seat that Elvis died on!!

It really is just a laughable monstrosity of a thing and I cannot understand how any Chelsea fan could be even the slightest bit happy with it. I actually like the current Stamford Bridge with that newest grandstand with perspex roof and I would've thought that it had great potential to be further developed.

Of course it will get planning because nobody will be able to stand up to abramovich and whatever means he employs to get the thing built but it shouldn't for a couple of reasons:

1. They've got to build over a railway line that's used for transporting nuclear waste.

2. Its fucking ugly

3. Fulham Broadway and the traffic around there is already atrocious. 2 years of construction traffic plus the extra match day people is going to make the area uninhabitable in terms of transportation.

Plus, that design looks like all the rain water is just going to drain into the middle of the pitch!
It's also right next to West Brompton cemetery, which is a very historic and peaceful spot.

That's the roof support. The actual roof (underneath) will slope away from the pitch.
