Course they do, that's why it's important to stop the slump. You've been around a long time and know how these slumps can take on a life of their own quite quickly and then build up and up.
It already has. I remember when we won 3-0 at old Trafford!

Me too. A decent result against brighton and more importantly, a good performance will quickly dispel the negative feeling but there's no point in trying to pretend that everything is hunky dory.

Watch the match and turn off for the analysis. ;)
Mute the commentary as well. Thats what I do if they start talking shite which is normally after about 1min 30 secs when they invariably announce '--------- have started the stronger here.'
Theres only 90sec been played you fkin bellends lol.

I think its a culmination of shite news.
Stadium delayed.
No transfers at all whoch frankly was just fkin embarrassing.
And now we've started losing and Poch seems to be making decisions which are raising eyebrows.
Personally I think we've royally fked up not investing heavily in the squad this summer and will be amazed if we get top 4 this season. Also think without big investment we're gonna struggle to get top 4 again anytime soon as I fear a big exodus next summer. Personally if I was one of our best players this summers lack pf investment would have been last straw for me and I'd be off for more money and to win something.
Sorry to be a doom merchant but just my onions.

Can't disagree with the sentiment of that.

Not denying that things aren’t hunky dory. There’s clearly a problem (probably several) at the moment as we just haven’t got out of the starting blocks. But I’m not quite ready to burn it all down and go back to the drawing board. Poch will fix it. He’s earned the time and respect for us to allow a rough patch. All managers/teams get them. Form is temporary.

No player with an ounce of ambition would stay at Spurs. I think it is clear already that Eriksen will go this summer at a minimum.

I don't want him to fail either - I want him to stay and I want him to get that monkey of not having won anything off his back. This is the most settled period that we've had at the club in many years. My only point was that I am well aware after years of supporting Spurs how things can quickly spiral and it's very important to get back not only to winning ways but seeing some strong performances. Performances have been patchy for a while - not sure why but even at the back end of last season we looked pedestrian on several occasions. I assume that Poch is concerned that the aggressive pressing game can't be kept up all season but that's when we looked at our best.

IMO it's the culmination of a lot of factors, with the media spotlight heavily pointing towards us. Previous years we've been happy to plod along under the radar as there was always other shenanigans going on somewhere else. Now it seems, these shenanigans are happening at spurs, so of course everyone is all over it and is dooming us to failure.

It also doesn't help that a lot of us 'fans' have turned completely the other way and have jumped on the media bandwagon, putting us down at every opportunity. Which doesn't help. But isn't that what supporting a team is all about, the highs and lows, the trials and tribulations, not crying your knickers off when things start to go a bit wrong.

Oh how i wish we had SC during the dark days, and how i wish some of our younger fans could see what we used to be like. Moaning about Vorm, remember Bobby Mimms. Moaning about Kane being knackered, remember Chris Armstrong. Moaning about Dier, remember David Howells. I could go on......

David Howells won the FA cup...we've not win a major trophy since then...I'm 30 and I can't remember us winning a major trophy. It now looks like we have blown our opportunity with our best squad in living memory...that's why people are upset.

Also WHL was utterly poisonous when we were shit.
