Ledley King on Danny Kelly show later
Sorry to take this back to ads, but the current Velux roof windows one, with the bloke and the excited little girl who, "Just loves free stuff!"
She starts of with a Scottish accent, then Scottish again, then English, then switches to American for the final line.
wtf? Go home, little girl, you're drunk.
You're paying far more attention than you need to be @Rocksuperstar seriously Dude, zone out or smoke a fat one
Colin Murray quits TalkSport after News Corp buy-out
Good on him. I mean...shame on him for working for Talksport in the first place, obviously, but at least he's come to his senses and fucked them off now they're connected to News Corp.
Good riddance, if there was one sound that made me reach for the off button it was that knob end.
TBH talkshite has gone so far downhill, apart from half an hour in the morning to catch up on any news and maybe a bit of H & J now and again, its only live commentary I listen to.
I like the sports bar, Cundy and Goldstein ripping Liverpool fans is gold
Didn't mind Murray, but hopefully this will bring about the much needed daytime return of the two Mikes.
Be interesting to see if LFC fans completely boycott it altogether...it'll be a shame if they do as their deluded rants always give me a chuckle.
What does everyone make of the rumour Talksport's original tag line was simply "sh*t, for c*nts"?
I actually really liked Colin Murray's show, thought he had become a very well rounded sportscaster and i enjoyed a lot of the features as well as the events. It was his guests that really made the show for me though, he used to get some magnificent co-presenters, i will be singing Words at the top of my lungs when they roll it out for the last time.
Can't help but agree with his reasoning either. Good for him for having morals
Oh, and i'm the opposite of gutted that Collymore is being let go - be interesting to see why and how that one pans out though. Was it the Sun that blew the lid off his Ulrika-bashing?
I personally really enjoyed Ian Wright's drivetime show many moons ago - could never understand them dropping him.
If anyone doesn't listen regularly, he's on from 10am til 1pm weekdays, so might be worth tuning in tomorrow. That statement was posted at about 2pm, an hour after he knocked off today.
Man, really going to miss a Bunce Tale & Bob Mills Goes Postal.
I wasn't fond of Murray when he was trying to be amusing but he did the best coverage of anyone anywhere in the media of the FIFA arrests. His contempt for Blatter was so brilliantly expressed and with so much good investigative-journalistic detail that I completely changed my opinion about Murray.
I just wish he'd stick to proper journalism and stop trying to be a lad.
I think he left to do that daily channel 5 show with Melinda Messenger.
They'll struggle to replace Collymore, I'd like to see him on MNF.
Jim Proudfoot should do more TV games.
The Breakfast Show is awful now, Alan Brazil should have been released years ago. He can barely string a coherent sentence together, it's embarrassing to listen to.
At least Clips of the Week is still quality and I still enjoy the golf reports from the American with the great voice. Bob something...
I know it's controversal, and I know SC doesn't like going against the norm, but I like Collymore as a show presenter, pundit and commentator.
I enjoyed his 'war' correspondant in the hooligan'ism during the Euro's too, fair play to him for actually reporting the reality.
Hope he gets something though, he gets people talking thats for sure.
