Its just too hard to listen to Talkshite. Even H&J is a struggle. There must be less than 14 mins actual presenters talking per half hour when you factor in the relentless ad breaks, useless traffic reports, comedy news and unintelligible sport news when that twat Abrahams presents it.

Its a waste of time. I've given up on it.

The Daily Star of radio. They just make stuff up to get callers to ring. Utter shite.

Brasil brown nosing Maureen is embarrassing. He expects them to finish top 4.... along with Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and possibly Spurs. Hmmm?

The phone in today is again centred around Spurs. Clearly the media are feeling threatened by us.

Adrian Durham and Darren Gough yet again spouting off about how any one of our players would leave instantly if one of the super rich 'big top British clubs' offer to double our players wages.

Continually laughing at any Spurs fan who calls in and mentions they have signed new contracts.

Today's targets and Walker and Rose, who apparently will leave at the drop of a hat this window if one of the other top 6 decides they want them.

I know they do this to provoke reaction, but it really is fucking pathetic. A true football fan or pundit would be congratulating us for competing with these clubs without relying on overseas investment and just trying to buy success. But no, let's dig Spurs out for refusing to pay £300k a week to a right back.

Why would they care, people phoning in are lining their pockets and making them money which is the shows format.

Jim White is doing my head in. He was at the Spurs v Everton game on Sunday and keeps bloody going on about being there like it was his first game ever. Now an expert on everything Spurs fans want having spoken to every one of them at length, yesterday he started telling Paul Hawksbee the views of Spurs fans, until he realised Hawksbee is a season ticket holder and might actually have some idea himself. Yet today he has Henry Winter in, who was also at the game, and he's treating it like they were in the tiny audience of some hushed up Beatles gig. What is the attraction with this fella?

id hazard a guess at Talksport now being owned by the same group that owns Sky/Sun etc has something to do with him getting this gig...i can't really stand the bloke, always name dropping and his show's trailer introduces him as 'the best connected man in sport'

i listened yesterday and he was going on about how all the spurs fans he spoke to were demanding a trophy NOW!!!
Dont get me wrong, a trophy would be nice, and i know for some on here its the be all and end all but for me, for the second season running, we're actually competing for the title (yeah i know its a long shot), playing some excellent football, loads of players i can actually relate to, and im absolutely loving every minute of it....trophy or not.

Jim White can fuck off, you can just tell he was in the West Stand on Sunday and we all know what a bunch of whingebags they are in there.

I rarely have him on, usually if a CD finishes and i'm not paying enough attention to switch over. You can tell the guests don't enjoy his show a fraction of the Colin Murray days, it's all so much droning on about stats.

People can slate Durham but at least he gets a debate going, Jim White just agrees and moves on, or says, "That's a very good point... now we move on to Maureen from Little Eczema in Kent, HELLO MAUREEN!" - if it was a good point, roll with it you dumbass. You can tell he's very much a TV person by default, he can't improvise, i bet his shows are spoon fed to him each morning.
