Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet

This slays me every time  "Scored sore many gorls!"

I doubt there's many clips from back in the day of Talk Radio UK, Caeser the Geezer & Tommy Boyd, but i used to call into both shows quite a lot at one point.

Caeser the Geezer was brilliant at massive wind ups. I remember one where he convinced 1000's of listeners that the moon was falling. And another where he said he was going to walk out because they said he couldn't smoke in the studio anymore (pre smoking ban)

Caesar The Geezer was a massive Spurs fan too, met him a couple of times, most recently last year, has doubled in weight since the Talksport days

Started listening to the 2 Mike's while the wife was pregnant and awake in the middle of the night. Singing 'Vanarama' still gets my daughter to sleep a year later.

I think Durham, while he's a total cock, doesn't get the credit he deserves. Isn't it funny, Gervais portrays an obnoxious, arrogant twat and everyone praises him, Durham does it every day and fulfills his contractual obligations to the station, admirably, being the most abrasive and argumentative he can possibly be and everyone hates him. I don't care what he's like outside of the job, he's paid to have outrageous views and opinions, sometimes bereft of all common sense (and he's even admitted to opting to side with lunacy before now, even if he doesn't agree) simply because they want irate fans to call in and shout at him about what an idiot he is. That's his job! That's what he's paid to do! The fact so many people hate him should instantly command a great deal of respect for a man who is clearly very, very good at his job.

To pair him up with Gormless Goughie, the loveable-but-clueless sidekick that he has become (I forget what he looks like now, in my head he looks a lot like Gordon the Gopher) was a master stroke. Granted, the show isn't 100% football, but when it is he clearly enjoys watching it as a fan but, as an armchair manager, he is loopy

i fully agree, he's got it down to an art now, and when he's going at other clubs i just listen in awe....when he starts on about spurs i have to turn him off as i know he'll get to me, its ridiculous !
The bit he just did about Coutinho's goal being lucky was classic.....i bet half of Liverpool just rang up at £1.50 per minute

The arsenal meltdown earlier was funny, Durham was in sparkling form stoking the fire!

I don't mind listening to talksport. The thing that irritates me the most is the consitant betting adverts and having so and so from coral, betfair etc on every 10 minutes.

Durham I think is funny, he does his job so well, the real idiots are the people that phone in and lower themselves to him!

Hear, hear......not to mention 'The Hedgehog Gutterbrush'. Has anyone ever actually bought one of those, whatever they are?

If the ad is anything to go by, I think they are a brush for removing clutter from your gutter...

My daughter still sings "1 nil to Omega loans" to me.

The ads are relentless though.

Being good at his job doesn't demand he be respected. Katie Hopkins does much the same thing as Durham, spouting controversial rubbish she doesn't actually believe to order. Being good at your job is only worthy of respect if the job is worthy of respect. Riling up Talksport's overwhelmingly thick listenership in order to get them to pay to call in is not respectable, whether you're good at it or not.

The selco advert gets me, I start singing it at work! Van a rama is still the best one.

In all seriousness, the Danny Kelly my sporting life are a good listen
