Someone was spouting that nonsense in the match thread yesterday.
The lashing out on here is bloody funny.

No doubt their league form is gash but they always step up for cl. Because spurs beat them it's no big deal though...

We also invented the definition of bottling it.

Joey Barton was funny yesterday morning, when he was asked about the Everton manager situation he said (paraphrasing):
"Moshiri is a bit like the ugly bloke in a nightclub, he's got his best clothes on, going round buying the best looking birds drinks in the hope he'll pull one when he's got no chance...well its getting late now, the clubs about to shut, and it looks like he'll be going home with the big one" :ROFLMAO:

cannot believe i actually agree with Jim White today

He says every other home nation is worried that England will win a major tournament again ( because we'd never hear the end of it ) and that they are relieved when England go out.

Talksport now saying Tottenham's downturn in form is all to do with Pochettino's new book and that it must have upset the dressing room, sounds like bollocks to me but a lot of idiots ringing in and fuelling the fire.

People look for any excuse. We have had Wembley, Poch has never won anything, the squad depth is not good enough, we train too hard and now it's the book. Don't get me wrong I think the book was a bad idea right now, wait until you win something big before sharing 'your philosophy', but it is the latest thing for everyone to jump on.

purely and simply we have key players injured and or out of form at the same time. We have had a run of two years playing the most consistent high level football of any team in the Premier League so any loss of that consistency will look worse than it is.

We have not been at our best yet only a couple of times, maybe once, this season do I feel we have been outplayed. Let's hope we will look back in January and laugh at the panic of November!

So has Parry been given the elbow then? Two Mikes normally do the warmup on Saturday but it's someone else.
I know he's an idiot but he makes me laugh.
