Anyone hear Durham yesterday afternoon?
In a moment of weakness I tuned in.
As usual after a fantastic performance and win on Saturday the prick had nothing positive to say and started back tracking on everything he'd said few days before.
But I dont know what was worse, the crap he was saying or the spurs fans who bit and rang in.
One Spurs fan was getting higher and higher pitched, ranting about Levy holding us back.
What a total tool.
I did wonder if it was a gooner in disguise.
Please people, stop calling this prick.

I tuned in for a couple of minutes on my drive home yesterday (while adverts were on on Radio X) and he was doing one of his polls on Will Spurs be releasing their DVD of their Chelsea win in time for Christmas or something...

Switched back over again to listen to adverts.

Durham is such a gimp.

Did anyone hear Mido on the breakfast show Monday morning, very funny. Very knowledgeable on the game and loved his time at Spurs. He's doing his coaching badges in Wales.

Yeah, I enjoyed listening to him on there, he seems like the kind of bloke who would be great to listen to but I think he'd drive me a bit nuts after a few hours. Glad his outlook on a lot of the guys he played with at Spurs are almost exactly as they come across, there was no revelations other than him using Berbatov's stuff and Berba getting stroppy :D Made me chuckle.

Thinking about it though, considering the size of him now and the fact he was in a studio with Brazil, can't have been much wiggle room in there! :p

I have been told that if you ring talk sport they keep you on hold for ages and so logic tells me this can be expensive .
I would ask why you would pay to have the likes of Durham take the piss out of you as its pretty clear to me that the likes of Durham;Cundy and the rest have no respect for any caller unless the are in agreement with what they had said.
If you have a brain then use it and don't call these people because it is the hits from callers that provides them the power to charge big time for advertising. I gave up on thesetwats years ago even to the point of not listening to the one programme I had time for namely Hawksby and Jacobs. Please don't call these shysters because if people stopped calling they would have to put on proper programmes to attract the advertising to keep them profitable.

Its almost like a newsreader and retired cricketer don't actually have a clue what they're talking about with regards to football.
How odd.

To be fair to Darren Gough, his views seem balanced and he seems to know what he is talking about unlike that wind up merchant Durham.

To be fair to Darren Gough, no he doesn't.
He just follows whatever the red top narrative of the day is.
He rarely offers any alternative views, and offers absolutely zero insight...which isn't a surprise as he's not an ex footballer.

I listen to his views on cricket, but value his views on football as I would every other fan.

He used to come to WHL a lot, his Son is a massive Spurs fan. Met Matt a few times at the Lane, top bloke.

Le Tissier himself was a Spurs fan growing up and was a big fan of Glenn Hoddle, who ironically never gave him a chance when manager of England.

He had also verbally agreed to join us when Terry Venables was manager but changed his mind as his wife didn't want to relocate from Southampton.

Aaaaahahahahaha, amazing, I just listened to Jim White die inside a little.

JW to Brazil - "Happy St Andrews day, my fellow Scot! Have you got anything planned this afternoon? Perhaps some refreshment or..."
AB - "Aye! We've got a do at the Savoy!"
JW - "... really?"
AB - "Scots in London!"
JW - "Really? That's..." clearly waiting for an invite which doesn't come

WiBitAJ.jpg

JW - "so... board up your windows then?"

Hahaha, rejected by your own kin. Harsh but I can't imagine he's anymore interesting drunk than sober.

Give him his dues he knows how to pick and merge topics to wind people up. I bet he doesn’t believe half the things that comes out of his mouth. The numpties that call in are the real idiots.

He is a complete troll, his only remit is to get calls. I would generally like to here an honest opinion out of him.

Durham does the score show on Saturdays and it's like listening to a completely different person on there he's a normal professional sounding presenter. The Drive show is an act like a lot of talksports presenters it's really not worth even thinking about.
