This time 2 weeks ago we were walking on air with the biggest dicks in London swinging happily between our legs. Now we are cowering in a corner after 3 shit results, 2 of the worst performances of the season and our upward momentum suddenly pissed away.

It's the hope that gets you and it serves us right to keep believing we don't support Tottenham. The team that really can piss any situation away and grab defeat from the flaps of victory.

If we get caught this season it will possibly be worse than last, not that Villas boas is to blame, more the shocking transfer policy AGAIN.

This isn't a knee jerk thread based on today. It encapsulates last weekend, only we could dominate against Liverpool and fuck up as badly individually as we did. In Milan, all we had to do was not lose by 3 goals but still needed a frankly unfair rule to scrape through and today against a bang average team, get dominated when we have aspirations for top 2!

Everyone keeps coming up with excuses that that wasn't the case when it was plain as the day that we haven't played good football since Christmas but because of Bale's form we kept picking up the points. I know other players like Jan, Demebele, Lloris and Lennon have had their moments but rarely at the same time. I'm just hoping this is tiredness and a lack of confidence that we can turn around. The spectre of last seasons chokefest looms large and probably scares the shit out of quite a few people but I'll wait to see how it all pans out before I have a rant, as disappointing as today's result is.

But two things spring to mind after some of the comments i've seen over the last couple of hours.

Some of you are aged between 6 and 10 and some are in dire need of some sort of counselling in how to deal with disappointment.
