Keeping my fingers crossed....
KUMB could explode.

They are away to Watford next.... Hopefully with a fit Gomes.

He has really been in good from this season, and they don't really have a capable backup... But I am expecting more hammer tears...

Big match will come next as Leicester visits... Kinda must win game before another big on against Everton away.

Then it's city, Chelsea, Arsenal.....

Gosh... I can see Moyes losing all his first 6 games.
I genuinely think the only thing which may help them is the new face factor. He may get some initial impetus into the team but Watford will make that very hard IMO. A poor start is likely to go from bad to worse.

I've got to admit that when I first heard that Moyes was going to take over I thought that only an idiot would appoint him, but I've looked his record, his win percentage, the way he motivates players and I've got to admit that I was wrong. It was two idiots that appointed him.

I wonder what odds you'd get if you were to bet that we'll go into the NYE game with the Spammers with more CL points than their PL points this season so far and Harry outscoring their entire 'team' this calendar year. Might be worth a punt as a double, especially when you see their schedule for the remainder of 2017.

Does Moyes even have a record of getting his teams to a good level of fitness?

Based on the stats it's clear the West Ham players are a lazy lazy rabble, so you'd have thought that at least they'd get someone in who could do something about that.

Is Christian Gross available?

Much as I like taking the piss outta them and hope they fail miserably I'm surprised they are in such shit street at moment.

Billic must really have lost the dressing room and not been able to organise things as they have a decent enough squad that should be sitting in mid-table.

Things like it being rumoured Billic asked Snodgrass where he wanted to play is a little worrying lol (even I know he's a right winger!) and aside from Hart they made a couple of good signing in the summer. Not spectacular but still solid.

Not sure what's going on with Hart either, reckon it's a confidence thing rather than ability and he hasn't been managed properly as he was pretty decent during his spell at Manchester City and they were always in the mix at the top.

Seems to be Guardiola ruined him a bit confidence-wise and prior to that he'd started to have a few iffy moments with England so maybe needed some intervention from manager or coaches to set him right and iron out mistakes before rot set in.

It's an odd thing with English goalkeepers as our very own Robinson started off incredibly and looked absolutely unbeatable but he shit out so quickly after that Gary Neville incident. Seems like our goalkeepers have weak mentality (see James also during his erratic career of ups and downs lol).

Leaving aside the possibility that West Ham will just not want to deal with us at all, the coming of Moyes might lead to some serious upheaval this January. Is there anybody that you think we might/should go for?

Lanzini is the obvious one, and I think he is well worth a punt. Other than that I don't see anyone of interest. Failing that, is there a youngster we should have at the top of our list? Declan Rice is the name that springs to mind.

According to Jim White, Moyes is en-route to their state of the art, #nextlevel training centre...

Id have a guess that he'll be announced at about 10am, would be 9:30 but he's got to pick Andy Carroll up from the Wetherspoons on the Romford Road first.
How anyone could knock those training facilities is beyond me.

I mean, look, they've moved the pallets from the front gate = SWANK!

Genuinely can’t think of a single player of theirs that I would want, Lanzini maybe a couple of seasons ago but we have moved on since then that I don’t think he would really add much to us.

Say what you will about Moyes, who on the whole i feel a bit sorry for (maybe it's the tragic Moe Szyslak thing he has going) but i'd sooner have him than Pardew, who i find incredibly unlikable - a man whose performances over the years have hardly justified his exceptional arrogance.
I get your stance on Pardew. But at least you can trust Pardew with a 6-months contract. ;)
Moyes is prone to arrogance too. How about this:

...notwithstanding that Sociedad had beat Barca the previous 4 home games and had not lost to them at home since getting promoted to La Liga in 2010! Oh, and they are still unbeaten in that fixture. That's 8 years now!
Like, "message".

Exhibit 2:

2014: "I actually think if Sir Alex was here this year it would be difficult for Sir Alex as well, and I'm sure he'd be aware of it. I think people are aware there's a squad that is a bit more aging, so I think it would have been a tough season for probably whoever was in charge of Manchester United this year."

Yeah, tough. With that aging squad. 3 months older since winning the Premier League. Tough. For whoever.

I agree - he's shown himself up, generally since leaving Everton. Shows what being under fire in different jobs does IMO. Both of those quotes could be attributed to a man lacking security and wanting to justify his position - something he didn't have to do at Everton.

Dare i say we'll see more of this soon! :D
