It's a shame this time if they go down, they have no players worth taking what so ever.

They've got afew youngsters we could look at

Tompkins, Spencer, Sears, Stanislas and Hines

any of them got good potential you reckon, probably be going for the cheap as they'll be fucked financially

Not saying we should buy these players, but it would certainly be worth looking at the following should they be offered at a cut price;

Robert Green
James Tompkins
Scott Parker
Jack Collison
Freddie Sears
Junior Stanislas
Zavon Hines
Victor Obinna

Obinna's on loan from Inter.

Sears flopped big time in the Championship when on loan, seems like the sort of player who will only play well for the club he supports. Admirable in a way I guess.

I'd only really consider Collison and Parker from that lot.

Couldn't they just sell that massive palace-shaped cock Gold had built in Theydon Bois? Proper ugly building, thoroughly inappropriate for the surroundings, like some carbuncle that a perma-drunk French lord would've had built in the 16th century. Anyways, even if they do go down, once Gold and that freakishly large ventriloquists dummy he hangs around with have stripped the club of all it's high earners and injected a couple of bob to start their re-promotion push next year, i don't think they'll be as troubled for cash as a lot of clubs would be in the same position.

Are you on crack?

So what are you going to do if we don't get 4th, laud it up on here saying HR should get sacked, our strikers are shit, VDV is a liability, huddlestones too slow and Jenas is shit. Or laugh uncontrollably because West Ham have gone down ?

It's all about opinions mate.

If we don't get 4th I will be pissed off, but look forward to next year with hope.

If West Ham get relegated I will laugh a lot.

These two events are in no way linked.

there is NO way I would, given the choice, sacrifice our place in the top 4 to see West Ham go down, which is what you seem to be advocating.

Opinions are one thing, placing another teams failures over our own success is another.

But we aren't being given the choice are we. I was saying that if we don't get CL footie next year and WH go down, the fact that they've gone down easily outweighs the disapointment. It's how i feel mate. Being brought up in and around the area, surrounded by WH fans has instilled a real hatred in me.

Ok, fair enough. I thought you were implying you would sacrifice our top 4 place for them going down.

No, i would never do that mate. If we get 4th and they go down, my god, i'd probably climb to the top of Nelsons column and wipe my arse on a hammers flag.

Ye, i see our derby against West Ham just slightly less important than the NLD. Its probably 50/50 here in regards to West Ham and Spurs fans.

I used to live in East Ham (74-81) so it was all West Ham, i remember being forced every Sunday lunchtime to sit in the Brittania in Plaistow, a pub owned by Frank Lampard, surrounded by West Ham players and kicking a ball about in the garden with young Frank, watching my dad and his team larking around with the WH team of that era Dickens, Devonshire etc.

My dad got me a West Ham kit and tracksuit but i told him I liked Glenn Hoddle and now supported Spurs. In all honesty it really broke his heart as the whole family were West Ham fans.

It seems like the Pikey Boys going down is all I've got left to be excited about this season.

I want it to be long and drawn out and last-minute heartbreaking style.

Just been un KUMB. It's class, they are taking it pretty well.

Talking about relegation in a thread called "how have you explained..."

"
Daddy and West Ham are going to be spending a little time apart, darling. They both still love you very much. And they want you to know that none of this is your fault. Its just that, daddy and West Ham haven't been getting along so well lately."

Brilliant. Then:

"A week or so ago my youngest daughter overheard me talking about relegation when I was on the phone to my dad. I explained to her that it was a bit like dropping down a class at school if someone was struggling in the top set. She said innocently 'What, a bit like my friend XXXX, who is in special needs class.....?' "

and...

"Remember those terrible years when we would lose away to Crewe Alexandra and daddy started drinking again and shouting to himself in the garage? Well they're here again son, and I think they're here to stay....

"

Perhaps we should have a little perspective.
