Seems bizarre you would go on a training camp a day after returning for pre season. Surely you’d do all the base work at your own training facility(even if it’s utter shit) then go on a training camp like we are doing.

Calling it now, West Ham to be this summer's Everton. All the pundits going, 'They've had a great summer.' But by November, a lot of the lads they've brought in to the club from abroad will be going, 'What the fuck have I got into.' Still massive cultural problems in the structure of the club, and I don't think Pellegrini will be the one to change it.

Exactly how i feel too. Will just be more of the same nonsense. The problems at that club go far deeper than just the playing staff, and even the playing staff are largely shit and over-payed has-beens

The bold bit is almost definitely the reason why they left the shithole as soon as the could.

If they can somehow get Wilshire fit and back to the player he was 4 years ago he’ll be a great signing. I hate the horrible **** but he was a very good player a while back. Could be very good for England if he can get back to that form.

Four years ago when he managed 14 appearances in the league all season? I hope they get that player as well.

Arsenal are no mugs and to just release him without any attempt to keep him talks volumes. He’s finished and this will be evident next season when teams will play around him.

This lot certainly aint messing about this summer, Anderson is some signing for them now too.
Wanted them to be relegated this year and thought they would next season but they wont now, top 10 IMO for them, so annoying they have a free stadium as they clearly have cash to burn now.

Depends, as we've been here before with many teams, especially QPR a few seasons back when they signed Park, Cesar and a few other good players.

Reality is, real life isn't a computer game and they run the risk of having a team full of individuals - individuals that have no emotional connection to the club or each other. Dangerous to buy so many players in one go.

Meh, he's been living off that one good performance against Barcelona his whole career. Was overrated before his injuries.

Although their trolley dash seems impressive to some I'm personally still not worried about them it's quite a number to integrate in one go and some might not work out as well as others.
I also can't see them breaking into the top six anytime soon unless one of the big boys have a disaster, also west ham do not do consistency they could get lucky and finish 6th this year and equally the following year finish 16th they are not a real threat plus all teams have money now with the last sky and BT deal
