Which they're actually losing because they now don't get all the food and beer sales which they did at the Boleyn.

Is that actually true? Thats pretty brutal buddy! I remember when West Ham opened the place Karren Brady was giving a tour to SKY cameras acting like she owned the place. I think I remember her saying it was better than Old Trafford *PMSL

I presume so, from the article that @nailsy posted:
But the Hammers have sacrificed a large percentage of catering income - which goes to stadium operators E20 - and cannot use the ground to make extra revenue with concerts, events or - like Spurs - to host NFL and other lucrative sports partnerships.

Id imagine a years worth must be more than 1.7m quid.

David Sullivan was previously quoted as saying he had received better offers for the ground, but sold to local firm Galliard as they would ensure the club's legacy would be respected.

Respecting the legacy by blowing it up for a laughably tin-pot straight to DVD action film? Sounds about right.

Tried watching this at the weekend. West Ham in a European semi final wasn't the most unbelievable part. The acting is awful.

My girlfriend after 10 minutes: "Shall we just watch it till they blow up their stadium?"

Me: "I'm guessing that'll be near the end"

Her: "Oh. Let's put something else on"

Don't understand the issue here unless he was heard or caught saying or doing something racist.

"The DFLA, a group formed of mainly middle-aged, white male football fans had planned a mass march from Park Lane to Whitehall. Organisers said on Facebook they were protesting against “returning jihadists”, “thousands of Awol migrants”, “rape gangs and groomers” and “veterans treated like traitors"

A Tottenham fan.

It's an organisation that seems to take advantage of misinformation, anger and in a lot of cases racisim to sell some dodgey merchandise and have a piss up in London.

Lady Brady has announced that the East Stand of the London Stadium is to be named after an ex player of theirs.

I'm surprised they would be allowed to do that as renters but some of their fans replies are pretty darn good.

I'm liking the Neil Orr Stand (either way you can't see).
