I have a strange feeling that this thread will become extremely popular if they continue to play like they have for the first half against West Brom - it's hilarious. They look like a bunch of clowns out there today.

You may well be right, I hope WBA don't take their foot off the gas and really do a number of West Ham. It could have a knock on effect going into their next few games.

This could turn out to be a four point loss if goal difference comes into play.

If they do go down who knows where it would lead, Charlton and Southampton were long term established PL outfits who have fallen into the same league as Brentford in recent years

Not inconceivable that West Ham could make a similar fall from grace if they go down

I'm assuming that as the families were in the main box, that it was West Ham fans racially abusing them and not United's?

From thisislondon.co.uk:

"If these allegations are found to be true, then it appals me," Sullivan said today. "I believe all human beings are equal. We are all born with different physical attributes.
"I happen to be small and I've been the subject to many years of 'heightism' - a word I invented - so I know how people feel when they are subject to this sort of abuse."

What a prize dick. "I've been taken the piss out of for being a short-arse, so I know exactly what it's like to be racially abused?", is that his point? Knob.

Oh, Heightism, a word i've been hearing said ever since "isms" were a concern, was your invention, eh?

See, i don't believe that because, if my memory serves, Sullivan is the one who looks like a ventriloquists dummy with a shit, stick-on beard - if that is the case then he is made of wood and things made of wood don't invent words. The person with their hand up their arse does that.

Mr Gold? Do you have anything to say on the matter?

"Gottle o' Geer!"

I think that we can all understand the situation. Thank you, gentlemen.

Never has such an aspirational capitalist pigdog ever worn such clothes without a sense of irony.

:) awww those lovable scamps.

Racism is so out of date. It just makes me cringe when people do it.

Quite. It's like a Frankie Boyle joke. Trying too hard mate.

Of course, never having suffered from any racism, I admit that those who do have to listen to these turds might find it a little more upsetting than cringe worthy.

bad loss for West Ham yest. They are likely to lose their next 2 games so will need a minmum of 7 points from their last 3 games.

Does anyone know how much financial trouble the club ar ein if they go down? Is there any chance the Olympic Stadium won't go to them ot won't be financially viable if they get relegated?

I believe they're getting a 40m loan from Newham council for the conversion of the stadium. So I don't see how them going down changing anything stadiumwise.

fair enough. But i would have thought that having less revenue would make it harder to repay that loan; if costs escalate as they always do they may not be able to afford to finish the conversion and paying rent + policing costs will become more difficult. My guess is that the tax payers will have to bail them out at some point as the government tries to avoid embarassment which will be quita gualling as the 2 Dave's will be making money out of it somehow.
