after watching that I kinda feel bad for them.....

So maybe I need to watch something else... Like chatabate or something. :D

I agree. No matter how much I despise a faction of their supporters most of them are just normal people who support their beloved football team. And it is just being pulled apart before there very eyes.

This could have been so easily have been us if Maxwell had taken us over instead of Alan Sugar

So she hasn’t met him but she knows he’s Scottish?

“I don't know whether or not he is the dour Scot he is sometimes reputed to be but we know he has many of the characteristics of Sir Alex Ferguson, who mentored his accession at Old Trafford."

Brady having a pop at Bilic today!!

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11685/11121866/payet-was-bilics-downfall

She really is a nasty piece of work

Regarding Bilic, she’s actually nailed it in her defence! Take away Payet and they were nothing is what everyone was saying. Payet leaves and they are suddenly shit again. It’s not a coincidence!

Shame Payet wasted that year there though. He could have been at a much better club and made a real difference as opposed to leading a side to 6th/7th instead of 12th/13th.

It’s amazing how she’s managed to blag her position in anything. Daddy and his contacts along with being a very, very personal friend of Sullivan for years back in the day might have helped...

She’s not actually a businesswoman is she? She’s just an employee of successful businessmen isn’t she?

If they go down there’s a very real possibility they could end up another Coventry.Homeless and in league 1.Relegation would be a disaster for the already struggling stadium operator.Rent would be halved and concessions income.I’ve no idea how they could then justify £8m on moving the seats every year.I’ve very little doubt if they don’t go down this year it’s coming in next 5 years.Half their squad is 30+ or approaching it.As said my personal hatred is for their owners not the common supporters. To see those 3 squirming and suffering in the championship would be joyous.

Lol fair enough re: Noble I didn’t think he too bad but don’t really pay massive attention towards West Ham.

He must be proper shite if not even getting a call-up with our thin midfield options at the moment!

I disagree mate I think she has properly thrown him under the bus with this line

“In his first 6 months when Payet was inspiring the team with his Gallic brilliance, Bilic sometimes looked pensive as though he thought this was a lucky break and might not go on.”

In one well phrased swoop she has basically said he got lucky and that anything positive was nothing to do with him but everything negative was. If that is what she genuinely believed then she should have sacked him then, not allowed the team to drift on under him for another year. It’s a relatively subtle blame shift by her.

In addition most clubs when they sack a manager just go down the “thank him for his efforts and good luck in the future,” whereas she has gone on the attack to try and shift the blame from the board.

I said from the start this move would kill them as a club and the picture you paint isn’t that unlikely at some point in the future.
I’m surprised a certain section of their fans didn’t form their own Phoenix type club when the move happened.

The Phoenix type club can’t be far away now surely? There is so much discontent and detachment from a significant chunk of the fan base now it seems a logical next step

Perhaps even a ground share with the 'O's ? The Iron irony would be so sweet.

Seen them taking about Thames iron works.Think that was original club name.Amazing saw the 07/08 PL table the other day they finished 3 pts above us.Reverse the owners/CEO they could well be where we are today.Makes you appreciate Levy a whole lot more.

I hear that often from West Ham fans...’only a few years ago we finished above Tottenham, now look at the difference’

Doesn’t quite paint the true story though. We had a poor league campaign and won a trophy that year as well as played European football. Plus one off seasons are just that usually. I mean, Leicester finished above everyone didn’t they!
We were mismanaged and underachieved for twenty odd years, which led to the likes of West Ham thinking they were on par with us. In reality they never have been, and now we’ve returned to our ‘normal’ standing, well, it’s only making their fans even more irate about the whole situation they find themselves in!

Slightly off topic, these last couple of seasons have been a joy for me. Started supporting Spurs in 1990, well past our heyday, so this is really the first time I’ve experienced Spurs as a genuinely big club.

Oh and fuck West Ham. Hope they go down and eventually fold. Shitty little scrotes.
