Let's All Laugh At... Let's All Laugh At West Ham

I have always tried to have good moral principles and not laugh at others misfortune s.

Then the West Ham of the last few seasons happened, and you know what? Screw being nice, this is too fckn funny not to belly laugh at a club imploding.

Is there room at the club to bring back Di Canio as an attacking (referees) coach? Joey Barton as a teamwork consultant and Danny Rose to help google new signings?

Maybe they could become a safe haven for the worst of the worst and be the gift that keeps on giving?

Ballotelli is almost too perfect for them

He’d score on his debut, their fans claim he’s better than Kane, finishes with 6 for the season, then goes on loan to Russia for the next two years as West Ham struggle to get rid of him as he’s on £150k a week ( because, they are well ambitious you know? )

I'm in bandit country today as someone got me a ticket to Saracens vs Harlequins at the London Stadium. Just got into the stadium and passed a popcorn stand: fuck my life!

Saracens Vs Harlequins at London Stadium today

BT pundits highlighting the difficulties about playing in a stadium like this because the crowd is so far away and the pitch 'dipping away' in the middle making it so difficult to get a marker when kicking into touch as you'd usually aim for someone in the crowd and you can't really aim properly there

Even Rugby getting in on mocking this disastrous ground :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

What do they mean the pitch is "dipping away"? Like there's a mound in the middle of the pitch or something?

No top level pitch is flat anymore. It is indeed curved to provide run off.

When I sat at Old Trafford on the side of the pitch my eyes were level with the pitch where it was nearest to me.

It was not possible to see the far touchline due to this. Any action on the far touchline was only seen with players knees and above.

Think they meant because the stadium footprint is circular but playing on a rectangular pitch. They also mentioned the sides outside of the pitch all being green too, so it makes it look like the pitch is circular rather than rectangular and dips away around the half way line

I know what you mean though, hence quotation marks, thought it was a strange turn of phrase

If I had 3 wishes, they would be, in reverse order with the biggest hope last.

3. Wenger stays
2. The spammers get relegated and can’t half fill the ground. And maybe get evicted.
1. We win a trophy very soon.

I understand that NWHL will be the exception and may give us a slight advantage over time. Be difficult to build a camber into sliding trays.

So according to the Sun, the Spammers want Manuel Pellegrini as manager next year.

Will be interesting seeing a top manager in the Championship. Albeit at a shithole club!

From doing some quick searches I understand that Man U have done away with the camber at OT, probably the newly relayed pitch has different drainage etc.

The peppercorn rent that West Ham pay at the London Stadium is unbelievable.

This is an older article and amongst other things it shows there is a sting in the tail for West Ham if they win the Champions League, they would have to pay an additional rent of an extra £1 million instead of halving the rent if relegated.

Although at least it shows they don't have to pay for corner flags.

I would be interested to know how our pitch drainage is set up with the removable sections. I would presume that they would only be moved as and when an NFL game is due, and would stay in place otherwise. So it would need to drain during any rain events that would occur.
