Ranieri, Pellegrini and Benitez...

Hate to say it... but GSB are really looking to give their fans what they want... A proven winner.

Given a choice... I think Pellegrini would be the one that would struggle the most. But I am still hopeful all 3 turn them down.

Usual spammers tactic. Talk big and then fail to deliver.

Not that fussed about Pellegrini to be honest. Despite winning the title at City I felt he flattered to deceive, and that title win seemed to be a pretty strange season in which each team kept tripping up until City found themselves the beneficiaries, I also think he bought very poorly, especially when you compare it to Pep. He may improve them but I can't imagine them upsetting the top 5 - maybe Arsenal!

He bought a few stinkers, but he also bought quite a few of the players that Pep is still using like Ottamendi, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Sterling and Delph - two of them were in the premier league team of the season last month. Personally I like the guy, and thought he carried himself with dignity during the months there was all the speculation about Pep taking over from him. I think he'd do a good job at West Ham unfortunately.

True, he did. However Otamendi was largely criticised under him, whereas Delph and Sterling have improved drastically under Pep. I've got nothing against him and your'e right he handled everything with dignity, I just highly doubt he is going to push them to compete with the bigger boys. I can imagine he'll have a season very similar to Bilic's first, do pretty well for a while before things become stale. I am surprised he's not going to Sevilla though, much more enticing project.

I don't. Not because he isn't a good manager but because the club is such a shambles and the board will stitch him up every step of the way. Think he'll last at most a season before walking.

Damn I really had my fingers crossed for Tim
Sherwood. They’ll still be shit though. No way the club backs him with the funds they need to spend.

Battle chest? Is that a partial war chest?

He's Worzel Gummage isn't he?
The only things he keeps in a chest are his spare heads.

Isn't he meant to be one of their ITKs or something? I'm sure I've seen him mentioned before.

Just to add that I don't think there's a chance in hell that Buffon will join them.
Yeah I think he is too, this is why their expectation levels are gonna be so high.

From KUMB; Some enthusiasm for the new manager?

I was uncertain about Pelegrini until i realsied he had a degree in civil engineering. And then it all became obvious to me why Sullivan wants him. The tight fisted dwarf has hired him not only to manage the team, but also to sort out the retractable seating at the stadium.
Its obvious now

My worry for the 65 year old is can he make it from the bench to the touch line without help?

Snapping up more young, exciting potential for the academy of football :LOL::LOL:

Sure he’ll fit in alongside their other recent signings:
Evra - 36
Zabaleta - 32
Hart - 30
Chicharito - 29
Arnoutovich - 28

Yap he is kinda ITK... But it's nothing new seeing West Ham throw names around. They might end up with butland, thou I would love it if he joins Arsenal..... Butland is in arse. Can't make stuff like that up.

Seems like the rumours are...

Pelegrini in... After Rafa turned them down. :ROFLMAO:

Why can't they just shut up and pretend he was first choice.
