I remember we were in for him & for some reason he went to Newcastle or something. He is decent from what I've seen and would be an achievable & good buy for them but as mentioned above, I hope he doesn't go there.

The simple reason he went to Newcastle was a shorter path to first team football.

I really hope Lascelles doesn't go there. He can potentially be an England regular and a move to WHAM will just see him fall victim to their defenders' injury curse.

I reckon he won't, better of staying another yeah then moving to a bigger club, he's far better than West Ham.

Their signings so far look like they will be fighting relegation again if you ask me. Pellegrini will fall out with the owners before the end of the season.

They’ve got a horrendous start to season. Can’t see these 6 or 7 players gelling in time. Be bottom 3 after 7 or 8 games and it will all kick off. Can’t wait ?

I'd like to see you doing the crossed-arms pose when they're broken and in plaster.

I probably could...

I've broken my left arm 3 times, the first was broken upper plus ulna and radius, the second just a broken wrist
and the third was a broken/chipped elbow.

The right has been broken just the once, in conjunction with the first time I broke the left.

You kind of just know this spending spree is gonna end in tears ?

It’d be fine if they had a time machine. Wilshire & Yarmolenko were tipped for big things 6 years ago!

Lascelles is far too good for them. In the current market he’s £45m of centre half too

Calling it now, West Ham to be this summer's Everton. All the pundits going, 'They've had a great summer.' But by November, a lot of the lads they've brought in to the club from abroad will be going, 'What the fuck have I got into.' Still massive cultural problems in the structure of the club, and I don't think Pellegrini will be the one to change it.

I hope you're right.

I am a little concerned though as do look like they have made some decent signings.

Not top 4 shouts like some were saying for Everton last summer, but they have got some useful players now and possibly a good coach in Pellegrini.

Although looking up Anderson who they are after he is down as a right-sided attacker, which is odd as their latest signing Yarmolenko is also down as this position.

Maybe with any luck with end up like that summer they signed Marco Boogers and they all turn out duff!

It feels like people often hail West Ham’s business during the summer transfer windows. They often buy big names (by their standards at least) but more often than not they don’t fit in the team/league, have attitude problems, are not as good people expect or whatever it can be. I don’t feel like this window is any different.

Pellegrini's a good coach, but he's a bit of an Ancelotti - good as a steady hand on the tillar, but not one for instigating radical change, which is what they really need. It's no point signing good players, if the culture of the club is one of doing the bare minimum and shirking, because those players figure they can just collect their wages and do the same.
