That's a high ball bid. With nothing in the offing £10 would be enough to get it called the Stratford Sinkhole

Hah. A 'laugh at' thread.

Post gets 'optimistic' rating by a non-posting 8 yr SC veteran.

At least we know you are watching ! The rating doesnt bother me at all.

Says in the paper news that Pellegrini is "unimpressed" with the training facilities and has demanded they be updated.

If true, I can imagine his tenure might be a little more than tentative

How could he not have seen their training facilities before agreeing to become manager?

They probably just emailed him pictures of our training ground and then did a MS Paint job putting their badge over ours.

They probably assured him it was "broadly similar to the Etihad campus" when the pen was hovering over the contract
I read somewhere that the one they use now is set in about 12 acres, whereas us, Chelsea, City etc are around 70-80 acres.
And if i'm not mistaken they only moved to their current one as the last one was complete dogshit.

So they don't have a stadium of their own, and their Training Ground is an embarrassment, what assets do they actually have if the club is to be sold ?

London Stadium: Search for sponsor of West Ham's home costs nearly £450,000

Nearly £450,000 of taxpayers' money has been spent trying to find a sponsor for West Ham's London Stadium home but a backer is still being sought.

The stadium's owner, the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), has been accused of wasting cash in its search for a naming rights partner.

A sponsorship expert says it could take years to secure a deal.

Two companies have been paid a total of £447,000 to try to find a naming rights partner, the BBC has learned.

But after two potential deals collapsed, no discussions are currently taking place.

The stadium, built for the London Olympics in 2012, has been dogged by controversy over its finances. Converting it into a football ground cost £323m when the original estimate was £190m.

As a football fan I feel sorry for West Ham fans. This is the kind of thing that they have no real control over and yet is potentially ruining there club. Complete mismanagement is going unpunished and is making them a laughing stock over matters completely off the field.

As a Tottenham fan I find it extremely amusing. They were promised the Holy Grail and have ended up with a Holey Pail.

And the Dildo Brothers and She-Man have not got a clue what they are doing :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Do we really need 2 threads on Liverpool and West Ham. Whether it’s laugh at or discussing surely we can keep it in one thread.

This.

Too cluttered having two threads for each team, thread could easily be renamed let’s laugh at (and sometimes discuss) liverpool, spammers etc.

People should be able to deal with doing both in same thread as sometimes the two things are intertwined as well.

Fuck West Ham in the biggest way. Yes, some impressive transfers but while their forward line reads Felipe Anderson, Yarmalenko, Hernandez, Carroll, Arnautovic and an injured Lanzini, they've got Fabianski in goal. It might all seem very exciting but it's going to be an absolute car-crash, IMO. The issues at that club were never with the playing staff before so why would it change now?
