I am no financial expert but the little common sense I have tells me the football club is not being run in the best interests of the club but rather in the best interests of the porn twins. Unless they can find a buyer with deep pockets I can see they gradually fading away and becoming a Championship club at best.
No shit.

Marvelous isn't it?

If I was Levy i'd be all over this . I wonder how much it would cost to change the running track to white and navy blue .

Nothing.
First reports I saw on this said Navy Blue was the colour they were thinking of using as they have to change from green. (Can't remember why)

West ham offered the money to try and get the colours they want.

It would obviously never happen, but that would be a good way of getting the fans back on side after the whole transfer window thing

Edit: although you'd have fans saying that we've spent more on carpet than we have on new players

We should hire the space and stick a massive advert for the new stadium on it. Worth a fortune in pr

If the site goes to market then ENIC should bid for it. Turf west ham out the stadium and demolish it. Then build whatever commercially makes the most money. I bet it would cross Levy's mind!

Would be hilarious and the ultimate payback.

Joe Lewis should buy it then get his sparks to rewire their safety systems before the season starts

In regards to this, I've seen quite a few posters on here/twitter etc in the past say this. But i can't figure out why this would be seen as a good thing? Surely the cost of renting the place, the lack of people turning up creating a shit atmosphere would be detrimental to Leyton Orient?

Maybe people are just saying it in jest, but IIRC at the time of clubs making bids, L.O were in the mix

They dont need to give it to the Os. They simply shouldn't have given it to West Ham enabling them to move just a kick in the arse away from Brisbane Rd.

Funny old game, back in the day when most of the takings was in cash on the turnstile my mates and I always used to chuckle when the attendance was announced.

It was always at least 5k under what we reckoned were there.

Orients stadium is perfect for them at the moment. You get a nice family atmosphere there. You'd lose all that at Stratford.

I think that BBC thing about attendance is a bit unfair. I mean if they asked West Ham directly they would have been given the right figures but they asked this bloke instead

Stumped what to buy your West Ham supporting friends this Christmas?

How about their very own Bobby Moore action man, the latest addition to the not-at-all-tasteless range of tat sold by West Ham?

A mere snip at £58.

Admittedly, that's more than most would pay for a West Ham player but he's currently the most mobile defender at the club, so why not?

They've even hung a little bracelet round his neck to commemorate his exploits in 1970. What more fitting tribute could a club pay to its best ever player?
