I'm worried about @riggi he has either had too many stellas in celebration, or completely messed up another expensive coat with the iron and had to cancel his internet due to cost:ROFLMAO: expected to see him in here celebrating(y)

They're questioning why the bloke taking the pics didn't 'do something about it', what? Go swinging in on a young bloke and a woman. Classy as ever. FFS.

So you've sacked off your old rivals because they're below you

You've invented a new rivalry

Your captain has talked the game up with BS about 'similar starts'

The game is at home

The game is straight after an international break when your captain and most of the team have had a nice two-week rest. Conversely, the vast majority of your rivals played twice, including their star striker who was already knackered.

Several other players in your rivals' team are also knackered, having not had a proper rest after the World Cup

Your rivals are missing their main defender who was in Team of the Season last year. Your rivals are also missing two England internationals and have four international players on the bench, because none of them are fit enough to play 90 minutes.

Your rivals struggled to beat one of the worst teams in the league in their last fixture

You spent nigh on £100m on new players in the close season. Your rivals spent fuck all.

The referee has a perfect view of a red card offence by one of your players and doesn't even give a foul.

Despite all this, you still lose 1-0.

So what do you do?

You go back to your old rivals...

It makes me sick that anyone in the human race would condone attacking someone for sitting near you and supporting a different team. It was a bloody woman and child too, not some nasty t*** looking for trouble.

These are the times I prefer rugby crowds, I have sat in matches vs Wales in Cardiff and had great banter and conversations with “rival” fans. Yeah I’m aware internationals tend to be an easier affair anyway, but still.

It was designed to be taken apart leaving a 25k athletics stadium. Would have cost a few mil a year to run but they could have mitigated it with summer concerts and naming rights. But coe and boris wanted a legacy and now you have this mess.

The Spammers were constantly allowed to hide behind this ridiculous Olympic legacy nonsense, and it's a shame that the important decision makers couldn't see behind the real crude lie which was that they wanted nearly everything funded by everyone else, anyone with half a brain cell should have realised that they secretly harboured ambitions of then getting ownership of the stadium on the cheap within 10 years.

The kangaroo court farce of a tender process basically penalised us from the start by inviting us to enter into a bidding process the key decision makers knew we had no chance of winning as they had already made up their minds, we were simply invited into the process to try to drive up the price West Ham were prepared to pay and that ended up going to plan - did it f*ck, and we were penalised for being honest about what we were going to do with the stadium, despite putting in a credible and properly funded plan as to how and athletics legacy stadium at Crystal Palace would be left with no further costs to the taxpayer, and yet we're somehow seen as the bad guys in this ridiculous affair.

The Spammers were desperate to keep quiet the real facts about all the extra hundreds of millions of pounds that were being spent on the roof etc all at the taxpayers expense even before they got their hands on it, the reason they are so pissed off and spout bitter venom at us and Levy is because we were uncovering these facts for the taxpaying public. Deep down the Spammers have no more interest in an Olympics legacy at Stratford than we did, the basic difference was that their plan was all along going to cost many hundreds of millions of pounds more of taxpayers money that would eventually see them get them ownership of a stadium for next to nothing, and the so called Olympic legacy idea would disappear up their claret and blue arses. Ours would have involved no more ongoing taxpayer expenditure and tax paying public and athletics fans would have been left with an athletics stadium in Crystal Palace which in this country is the real home of athletics. Sebastian Coe should never have been allowed anywhere near the decision making process as he was biased in his wishes for a lasting legacy that he will forever be associated, regardless of the real costs to the taxpayer in the long term.

Before we got involved West Ham were taking over the place. We were encouraged to bid to reduce their leverage then Levy made it so West Ham had to rent instead of own it and that the running track has to remain for 99 years.
If that is broken, Levy’s lawyers will be all over it ASAP.

Our bid was always the most sensible yet it was laughed off. Levy ensured that West Ham’s plans for the stadium were ripped up and at best, put on hold for a generation at least.
They’ll be in a different stadium within 15-20 years imo. Possibly further out in to white van land.

They should be safe from relegation as there are at least three teams much worse than them but they need to start scoring from open play.
