Problem for him is, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere else for him to go. Something odd going on, why would United not even table a bid for Ronny, there is no way in hell Jose wouldn’t want him and he could certainly earn more money at United. The only reason I can think is that Ronny feels the Italian league more suitable now he is older.

I meant the pre-season tour! Lol. But I do take your point.

Unfortunately it’s pretty obvious it that Mourinho is in his end of days at United. Well, unfortunate for us, as they will come for Poch with maximum force next summer. It has an awful inevitability about it.

Even more reason why Levy needs to fully support him this summer. Get the man what he needs and he won't have any reason to run off.

I don’t know if anything can stop him going to United. I think he wants to be the new Fergie. It’s a club that would suit him so much better than Real too.

I really hope I’m wrong and he can fulfill his ambitions here. But at the moment, he’s still fighting with one hand tied behind his back.

I think he'd prefer to be the new Fergie with us.

I can't see him leaving if he's fully supported i.e; we give him the players he wants.

He has a strong emotional attachment to us for sure, but you’ve got to understand how big the pull of United is to those from other countries and cultures. Anyway, it’s sure to be a a saga that will crop up some day in the not too distant future.

You just described my worst nightmare. I do feel confident in staying that Pochettino is delighted with where he is now though. Hopefully that coupled with his relationship to our core players is enough to keep him from United.

I would expect ManU would find Zidane a more comfortable fit in all respects, and he's readily available. (That's not to say that ManU won't come calling in a couple of years' time when the cycle is inevitably repeated. :()

Amazes me that players still want to sign for him when he does stuff like this

Not quite what he said:

"Do you want him to be very happy with the players he has around him? We are not playing here to improve the team or our dynamic or routines. We are playing here just to try to survive and to have some not-very-ugly results,"

"Alexis is the only attacking player we have. We don't have wingers, we don't have strikers. He's the only one who is here, and the poor man is there trying his best, with the frustration of somebody that wants more."

"Against Milan he played fantastically well, and he did his best here. I don't think you are right to say he is not happy. If he is not happy he is not ready to play two consecutive matches of 90 minutes and 85 minutes working the way he worked."

"For me, these guys are phenomenal in terms of attitude and respect for the club. Really pleased with them."

Interesting that he says he gave a list of 5 players he wanted to get in...and he is yet to get even one of them.

Seems crazy that they spent £55m on Fred and he's not even on the list of 5.

United had pretty much halved their debt (around 370 million) from the leveraged sale (780 milion) a couple of years ago.

It's now gone back up to around 500 million as Jose has chucked money at getting back into the top four.

But they are not going to keep doing that and now they are back in the top four it looks like they have stopped and expect Mourinho to work within the club finances.

Looks like the meltdown may have started.

Can’t see him being there at the end of the season. I honestly think they’ll be better off without him too. He’s holding so many of their players back.

Might be part of the reason for his limited shelf life at clubs.
Spends silly money to get the best players in, has a couple of good seasons, but when the purse strings inevitably close he gets found out and moves on.
Chelsea have racked up 1.2 billion in debt so I'd guess he played a big part in that as well.

Thats why I'm not bothered about who they sign while he's in charge.
He wont bring the best out of them. He'll suffocate them.

Sport Bible really is a joke, to try and misquote someone so obviously is bad.

I'm not defending Mourinho though..
