Many problems for them.

Off the pitch they have no strategy, I think that is the main source of the issues. They have a really poor balance to the squad and with several players suiting different systems. They throw money around a) in a desperate bid to get back to the top, and b) to keep trying to show they're still at the very top table of clubs. Whether a player is right for them or not does not come into the equation seemingly.

With Mourinho I don't know what the issue is. Partly looks like his powers are waning, that some of the desire has gone in any case, and I think he's trying to adapt to the club/fanbase rather than doing it his own way. It's most unlike him to still not know what his first XI is and to be chopping and changing constantly, to have his team looking so open, and in his previous tenures he'd have never put up with people like Pogba, Sanchez, Mata (he got rid of him once already!), Lukaku, Martial, Rashford etc strolling around, not listening to tactical instruction, and constantly making poor choices.

They still have enough talent that you expect them to be in the mix come the end of the season, but they desperately need some leadership and vision as to what they are trying to do as a football team. Until they get then I don't think any amount of financial muscle can help them get where they want to be.
I think Mourinho has lost some passion, the passion of what he does to create a winning team and winning mentality because nowadays he's more passionate about defending his records and what he has won. I think he's lost what made him a winner and at the same time he's not really modernised his management.

Would you back Maureen’s judgement on defenders when the two CDs he has signed are so poor ? Maureen is on borrowed time IMO and that is why he is not being backed in the Transfer Window.

If it was to buy one of the best center backs in the league then why not? Not buying him has hurt the team.

what a pathetic prick

Saw 2 boys having a kickabout while I was camping. Ball was a Spurs ball so I asked who supported the best team in the world. 1 lad squeaks he's a yid thru & thru. Me: Good lad, we're fantastic! Lad 2: I support Arsenal & Chelsea. Cos Ronaldo plays for Chelsea.

No. Lad 2: Well he played for Man Utd so I'm Arsenal & Chelsea.

Okay buttmonkey, go back to ruining the Spurs lad's fun.

He really was a twattish kid; kept trying to do tricks and wouldn't pass the ball. Plus made up crazxy lies. Best was, "My school does no work in December and they give us Nerf guns for Christmas to keep." Spurs lad: So let's see it then. Lad 2: No I don't want to show you.

Err, jog on you little liar & take you inferiority complex with you. Worse thing was the Spurs lad was in an old tent & battered car & this lad was in a decent looking caravan; he had no reason to lie to make him seem better off, his family already looked better off. I was chuffed the Spurs lad just brushed it off and kept playing unselfishly.

... And that was a bit off topic ...

It wouldn't matter who was manager at Man Utd to be honest... they've become a club beholden to the super agents, and for people like Woodward the league position is secondary to the profit margin.

It makes me all the more thankful that we have the owners that we do. Grass is very rarely greener, don't know what you've got 'til it's gone... etc, etc...

totally agree, and with the history of yank owners if ENIC ever do sell I really hope it's not to an American company

Yeah sorry I should have put a disclaimer in don’t read it.

The guy was really ranty, but the takeaway from it all is that there are big divisions in the fan base between Mourinho vs Woodward vs the board vs players (player power). They really feel a bit leaderless at every level at the moment
