To be honest I think mourhino has played his cards perfectly. Everyone now is talking about him. Apart from a bit from Neville, no one is really criticizing his players.

It's amazing really that after united got beat 3 0 at home and those players who played were nowhere near good enough to be called 'united players', as they like to put it, were not criticised.

Ferguson left how many years ago?

They are still playing Smalling and Jones, they are lower mid table centre backs (at best). The United of old went out and bought the best promising young players in the world, when was the last time they bought a rooney or a Ferdinand?

Looking at their team they have signed 4 class players since AF left, Ibra, Sanchez, pogba and matic. Of the three they have now, only matic could be described as not a flop.

They are in terrible trouble. If mourhino goes I could see them dropping to arsenals level.

"I am the manager of the one of the greatest clubs in the world but I'm also one of the greatest managers in the world," said Mourinho.

Says it all really....pompous git.

he sounds like someone who has taken his daily affirmations to the extreme and now repeats them in public

I’d love Shaun Dyche to claim his the 7th greatest manager in Burnley’s history after they beat United.

I think everyone (except the police) was a bit OTT in that video.

It's strange that Man Utd were getting the train though; couldn't they just get on one of their luxury coaches at Vicarage Road and head north?

I think Man Utd have absolutely no right to restrict people access to the train platform. If they want to travel on public transport then they need to learn to tolerate the pubic....... Bizarre though, as its probably cheaper to go by taxi than train.

Probably take 4 times as long though.
You'd think with their money they'd fly everywhere.

Guy was being a dick though, if you're gonna film people (footballers, celebrity's or not) and then get abusive about it then you're gonna face a backlash.

What was his crime though? Sure, if I was one of the players and someone was filming me on their phone, I'd be pretty irritated about it, but the guy wasn't hurling abuse at them. It wasn't until that woman came along and tried to force him away that he got a bit lairy.

But he had as much right to be there as they did.

I think the law is that you can film whatever/whoever you like in places but for places where you expect privacy it's against the law, although him putting it up on the public domain without permission is effectively illegal as well and Man Utd could ask for it to be removed.

That woman should have handled the situation better though but then again if the guy filming would have asked them in the first place then I don't think there would have been a problem.

If someone's following you and your family with a camera then you're gonna get pretty pissed off though.

You'd be surprised how many teams use the train initially...
I've seen England, United, City, Liverpool, Newcastle, WBA and a few others from lower leagues get off the train at Watford Junction then board the luxury coach that's waiting for them.
The coach is usually just used for short distance, such as station to hotel, hotel to ground.
When we played Swansea at Wembley the Swansea squad stayed at one of the hotels right next to the stadium - and still boarded a coach for the 500m journey to the stadium!

As for restricting people's access on the platform - it's station staff that do that.
I was down there waiting for a train home just as England squad were arriving. Figured I'd try and get an autograph or two for my lad, but was told by staff I could take pictures/video but nothing more.

Have seen a few Utd fans on twitter saying its very common for the team to use the train.
