I think they’d be mad to sack him personally. The sullen depressed figure we see in the media is just him using himself as the target to take the heat off his under performing players. He’s done it so many times before. If he wins a couple of games the heat will be off again. Newcastle are the perfect opponents for them. They’re cannon fodder nowadays.

Here’s Gary Neville again not being able to take what they are now compared to what they were.

He has completely lost the plot. Even my southerly united fan friends want him sacked.

My view is that he is no longer as astute/flexible tactically as other managers. You look at their team and they have the best keeper in the league, a very good central midfield and an absolute abundance of talent up front. They just dont want to play for him and are inhibited by his strange tactics.

Worryingly Poch will be a leading replacement, but i would like to think he is happy here to say no.......
Yeah, difficult to imagine a way forward for Mourinho now.

After this summer I can't see Poch staying. It seems clear we will never compete for honors - we just don't have the resources and won't spend the necessary money.

Strangely - we could end the weekend only 2 points off the top - so you never know I guess.

Thing is even I'm getting bored of the money = success cycle of football - especially since we are not part of it.
I'm getting bored of it too. Unfortunately, if we're waiting for the bubble to burst and our model to triumph, we might be waiting a while yet.

I must admit I'm quite worried about Poch going there. He would thrive with their squad and resources/backing and he admires Ferguson having met him a few times.

I would be bricking it until they appoint someone else.

Just another wealthy team. Nevile is a deluded media cheerleader. Value his opinion as much as Valencia fans do I. E barely #tears4gnev

Going to be either Zidane or Conte in charge for next game at Chelsea.

Really hope they don't target Pochettino because who would blame him if he went there

Fans all seem to be behind Maureen there at halftime.

Clapping him and encouraging him rather than bunging cabbages at him.

Think the board will have a big problem if they lose this and then sack him.

Poch wouldn't go though. He doesn't like players that have big egos, so I don't think he would enjoy managing players like Sanchez or Pogba.

Wouldn't surprise me , no doubt the players have downed tools, only problem is they'll come for Poch :(
What's Poch's buy-out clause? If he didn't jump ship for Real in the summer I doubt he'll leave us for the shipwreck that's manure now

Would like Poch to tell Manure they'd have to sell the entire squad before he considers moving over. We then get Martial for peanuts and Poch turns them down.:)

Sitting here by a pool in the Dominican and working my way down the cocktail list, we get three points and United are in disarray...what a Saturday.
