I think often pick a bad guy rather than seeing the whole picture.

Some hated Jose from the beginning but many remember what has happened since before then and see their problems as more than a manager.

Like you say he isn’t blameless but many see the board as the bigger issue.

I thought Utd were hugely fortunate. It really should have been 3-4 at HT. Diame had a game to forget; a silly and unnecessary trip on Martial and you just knew that freekick was going to go in. And up the other end misses a sitter to turn the screw in.

Fair play to utd for getting the result but had they been up against any other team apart from Newcastle and at 2-0 down they would have lost.

Atsu gave one of the worst performances I've seen from a sub for a long time. Massively contributed to the result.
