Brazilan Ronaldo was the greatest striker I've ever seen, he could score all types of goal. Even when he was overweight he was still scoring goals.

"We were not the better team today, so I cannot complain." -LVG. This should be a concern to all UTD fans.

Why? It's not like they lost.
You think Utd fans will be happy with draws where they're not the better team? You think they will be happy with draws where they ARE the better team? What sort of Utd fans do you know?

Is any fan of any club happy with a draw when they are the better team? I doubt it.

I've seen quite a few fans moaning that this is not the way a United side should play.

One even saying they didn't win much in the 80s but he enjoyed the Big Ron (Atkinson) teams.

I think many were spoiled by the Ferguson years and the attacking style - combined with a local core of players they felt a connection to. Now they are a marketing machine and the players/manager are largely disconnected from the fans - even Rooney, one of the few remaining from before, looks a (rather large) shadow of his former self. A predictable decline, to be honest.

I'm sure to United fans, the only way that NOT playing the 'United way' is even remotely acceptable, is if they get results. To play like utter shit and not actually get results, would be hard for them to take. If LVG wants to play that way, he'd better start getting results from it, after all, getting results is the only reason he's playing that way, he thinks it will work. (I'm assuming.)

I was just answering your question and I still don't think it should be a concern to all Utd fans that they drew with Palace.
No, you missed what I was saying. I said they should be concerned that their manager said "we were not the better team today so I cannot complain." I'm sure he doesn't mean he was 100% happy with the performance, but it seems a very stupid thing to say. Anyway, considering they've spent 230 million under LVG, over 100 million this season, having their young star in-form striker not playing as a striker and now drawing with Palace playing shit boring football, I'd actually say Utd fans have a right to be a little concerned. Philosophy? :ROFLMAO:

I guess its hard for their fans to be too upset when they are sitting in the top four, just four points behind the league leaders. I wonder how the fans would be now if Walkers opening day own goal hadn't gone in and they were sitting in 7th place now instead.

Surprised this thread hadn't been bumped by now after United got kicked out of the CL! Pretty ridiculous, LVG should probably be doing a bit better with that team.

United doesnt deserve to be in top4. Survived too many close calls till now ,including our game.
There p.market_segmentation_description.

Their striking options are poor, midfield is slow. Their defense is decent but getting injuries in back 4. Darmain& Smalling out for few games. I would be disappointed if we remain below them in league after New Year
