They are now playing Everton ball of the mid to late naughties...Mou is a horrible coach. This is embarrassing. To spend that much money and be lumping it up to Fellaini.

Anything to win is acceptable in Mourinho's world.

I don't really understand him.

He's been in the public eye for a couple of years now, and I still can't really figure out if he's any good or not.
He is fast for a forward and makes decent runs in behind. His technical ability is lacking and his finishing is shit poor. He may get better in those aspects but doubt it as he doesn't have the incentive since he got into the team so soon. But his diving and the sometimes billy big bollocks attitude makes me dislike him.

For all his bluster, Rashford goalscoring record is a million miles from the hype and media attention he gets, and since he's a forward/striker he should be scoring some goals at least

Not watching the super cup but he's one of the players totally fucked over by Mourinho(Martial too). He's played too much out wide which rally isn't his position, ironically that should be Martials place, and it really hurt his form.

Scorline flatters united.

If all they've got is deep crosses to lukaku, Livermoore and maom then I'm confident we'll do them home and away .

But then Jose and his anti football will park the bus against us.

Can't listen to the commentators anymore with their excuses of how mourhino needs time to build his squad

310 million pounds in two summers

Fuck off

It's amazing how it's ok for Utd to be behind now because they've had to buy players and they need to settle in but we're going to struggle since we haven't bought players

I hate that taking of the medals off things. Unless the outcome is disputed/under protest you should wear them until the victors are crowned as you were beaten fairly and squarely. But leave it to Mourinho to be classless.

He comes across fairly level-headed to me, but I agree about the incentive point. Being played out wide probably doesn't do him much good either, he's better down the middle

Yes, in interviews he indeed does come off very likeable (the type of lad that a father would be proud). What I meant, to be precise, is his wholehearted acceptance of the Mourinho shit, the cynical stuff like that hack on vasquez at the end and the dives.

Yeah, I'll agree on that. It did annoy me though that Vasquez made the most of it (in fairness, which players don't?)

Ive been a Pogba fan for a while but its amazing how he disappears when things get tough. He has no drive to go grab the game by the scruff of the neck when its needed. Never worth 80 million. And yeah, Im a lot less worried about United after watching that. Madrid never got out of 3rd gear and cruised for 75 minutes.

Think Mkhitaryan looks real quality.

Mourinho likes his central midfielders to be very physical.

They now have Herrera, Pogba and Matic to cover the centre and Mkhitaryan and Martial taking players on and making things happen.

On paper they should be very strong but I don't think things are quite right there.

Is it just me or does it feel like a lot of media folk and pundits have been holding back on their spunk cannons for the last 3 seasons and now Man U have spent loads more money and won their first game 4 - 0, their wank fest has well and truly begun?
