The way he is so handsomely paid, one would have thought that it would be his responsibility to inspire his players to much greater heights. His inability to do so marks him as a so-so coach. He was lucky to inherit good teams when he first entered management and been able to win trophies then.

Isn't it funny how people seem to have forgotten completely that the Inter squad he inherited had won three Serie A titles on the bounce under Mancini?

He took over the undisputed top dogs in Italy, added Sneijder, Etoo, Milito, Lucio for big money to it and won one more trophy that Mancini couldn't. The UCL is the top trophy to win but it's hardly like he dragged a team from the ashes to it.

His only truly big achievement is the CL title with Porto IMO. Everything else has been inherited and bought for obscene money.

I don't rate him in terms of player development or utilisation either. Look at the players he has moved on during his tenures. If it were 1 or 2, you'd say that was the norm for most teams. But there's been a number of load of world class players he couldn't get to grips with and moved on. Who have turned into some of the best in the prem.

It works both ways. Play dull football and you’ll get disinterested fans.

Combination of dull football, high prices, large % of tourists in the stadium, and a generation of glory hunters who don't fancy it anymore now that they don't win every week.

That ego maniac claim that he should win an award as the best behaved manager. Just hope Newcastle beat his team by a controversial penalty and see how he behaves.

Awww is mourinho not in the spotlight enough at the moment? Not enough praise this year? Jealous of others?

If that award existed only one name would be on it........Poch

I remember when that guy with the mic was on that BT Sport fan section that they do. Was basically scoffing at Tottenham after they beat us saying that "Tottenham better than United? Have a word!". Considering how hopeless they were the previous two seasons and how poor they still are, I wonder if he still feels that way?!

They've relied on De Gea to bail them out thus far, and scored more goals than their amount of chances would suggest. The question was always whether they would start playing better before variance started catching up to them. So far it doesn't seem that way.

United and Chelsea have 4 games remaining vs. the top 6, whereas the rest of the top 6 have 2. I think they'll have a challenge on their hands in regards to staying in the top 4.

They're definitely involved in the fight for the top 4 now whereas just a couple of weeks ago a lot of people thought they were pretty much nailed on. Their next 3 league matches are extremely important Chelsea (H), Palace (A), Liverpool (H), and from our perspective obviously win-win situations in the Chelsea and Liverpool matches.

:ROFLMAO: No surprise this is starting to happen.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...d-work-man-utd-issues-despite-claims-regrets/

Paul Pogba determined to work through Man Utd issues despite claims he 'regrets' not choosing Real Madrid
Attacking player who doesn't like the defensive side of the game falling out with Mourinho shocker.

It's one of the reasons Fergie didn't bow to him because he knew he had much to learn before being trusted.

United will probably go and buy another dm to make it work. But it's great that these ego clashes are happening.
