He has been working the lower leagues for years. Really put inthe hard work, I hope he goes on to bigger and better things.

He seems promising, hoping he does a good job not only due to him being Spurs but also as Orient is god-father's team so I like to see them do well.

Wasn't that confident in Steve Davis appointment as he's been pretty average in previous jobs.

They're only six points above the drop zone now. I'm not sure they'd survive dropping down another division.

I went to Orients match against Dover today. They won 3-0 in front of a crowd of 4,641 - so impressive for a 5th tier match

One thing of note was the affection for the owner. He walked around the pitch pre-match shaking hands with fans and waving to supporters further back in the stands. The crowd seem to love him.

Good to see a good crowd getting to see a good win. I live down in Kent now and Dover are a good well run club.
Probably already put this somewhere but I was brought up in Walthamstow and was a ball boy over the Os when I was a kid playing for the district team in the late 70s.
My old man had a pub behind Leyton tube station in the 90s. Full of Orient fans on match day. Good times.
Always went over there when Spurs were playing away (once the football combination stopped of course).
COYO!

Leyton Orient have unveiled a one-off fourth strip in tribute to the club's role during the Great War.

The non-League side showed off the stunning new kit on Friday morning with the new shirt featuring an iconic red chevron across the chest as a nod to the strip they used 100 years ago.

Orient, known as Clapton Orient back then, were the first English club to sign up en-masse with 41 players and staff enlisting. Tragically, three of the club's players, Richard McFadden, Willie Jonas and George Scott were killed in action.

The kit will also come with blue shorts and socks while no sponsors will feature anywhere on it.

Orient will wear the kit for their home game against Bromley on November 17, which is the closest fixture to Remembrance Sunday.

Orient's vice-chairman Kent Teague told the club's official website: 'The main reason we had the kit made is because we know that history matters.

Randomly was watching Orient yesterday as they got knocked out of the FA Cup by my local team (Maidstone Utd).

Was expecting a touch game but was quite a comfortable 2-0 win. Sad to see how far they’ve dropped.

They're doing well in league at moment though.

Currently in third, although conference is a tough division to get out of.

Real shame how they've dropped though considering they were topping League 1 a couple of seasons back.

Won 4-0 on Saturday & went back to the top of the league. Our man Justin Edinburgh is doing some fine work at that club.

Edinburgh got Newport into the Football League a few years ago so he has form from that level. Hope they get back up.

There's a long way to go, but Orient moved four points clear today.

They've got a fantastic team at the moment, Edinburgh is doing a great job too. Watched their match against Borham Wood the other day on BT Sport and despite losing they looked really comfortable on the ball, just couldn't get it in the net.

That lad Ekpiteta is excellent, i imagine a he'll get poached in the Summer by a team higher up the leagues but considering the dumpster fire Edinburgh and Travis had to work with they've done well.

Aside from being my "local" team since I was a kid, it also makes my life easier when they're winning as my boss is a season ticket holder (y)

Macauley Bonne has been a fantastic find for them too, not really prolific from what I could find when they first got him but he’s really come into his own as a consistent goal scorer for them!

Hopefully they can keep him and move up to league 2 and he’ll want to sample that league first.

They're two points clear with three games to go. They've got two tough looking games coming up over the Easter weekend though.
