They're two points clear with three games to go. They've got two tough looking games coming up over the Easter weekend though.
And the club chasing is Salford - artifically wealthy courtesy of the Class of 92 and a businessman from Singapore. Could hardly be a bigger contrast with Orient.

Yeah, it's really annoying, especially as David Beckham is part of the set-up there now and he was born in Leytonstone.

My mate got me a ticket for this at the weekend. It looks like a good day out as you get to see two games. Chertsey Town face Cray Valley (PM) kick-off first in the FA Vase and then it's AFC Fylde and Leyton Orient for the FA Trophy Final.

They’ve had a few injuries recently too - Maguire Drew their big signing in January is out for a bit and Dayton got done recently too.

Hopefully they can keep going and get over the line and get promoted as champions.

Would be interesting to see how they would push on in league 2 as they’re a lot better run now, the owner is a fan, Ling seems to be quite astute at picking up players and Edingburgh is showing himself to be a really good coach (I was always a little apprehensive about Davis as he’s never really pulled up any trees).

I also like the fact that it's Justin Edinburgh managing them. My abiding memory of him was being sent off in the 1999 Worthington Cup final, beginning my, and no doubt most Spurs fans', dislike of Robbie Savage. I still believe that the sending off galvanised us to go on and lift the trophy, so alongside Allan Nielsen, Edinburgh gets credit in my heart.

Only thing Edingburgh did wrong there is he should have bitch slapped Savage harder.

An Irish Leyton Orient fan came into my shop yesterday and had a great chat with him. He used to run the Beehive, which I'm sure many of us has been in on a match day.

Really pleased to be able to talk football and old Spurs characters with a real football fan.

I'm watching. Huge match for the O's.

The Solihull match is the one. If they win that then they basically take Solihull out of the picture then it's just that machine they have going on at Salford to worry about.

edit: As i hit post, Orient go a goal up inside 2 minutes 8)

Yep, that's the big one, although they might need to win all three.

A welcome 2-0 win, but with Salford creeping up.

Salford was close, Boreham had them on the back foot for a while but that club is an absolute machine, they grind out results. Going to be an exciting couple of games to finish the season on.

It's a tight contest, but Orient are in the box seat. A massive game for them away at Solihull on monday.

Solihull are basically the Man City of National League, yes? (Although their owners only torture people with their accents)

No Solihull are a tiny club who are punching well above their weight even being in the National League, let alone fighting for promotion.

You're thinking of Salford, owned by the Class of 92.

Aaaah, right. Yes, I was thinking of Salford.

The accent point is still valid, though...
