0-2 loss at home to Wycombe today. Nine points from safety now after Cheltenham's win.

Wonderful to see Spurs fans donating to Leyton Orient Regeneration fund before the game. Class.

West Ham moving to the olympic stadium has killed Leyton Orient. Barry Hearn who had been a good job as chairman saw the writing on the wall (He does bear a lot of responsibility for selling to this guy though) and got while he could.

I'm not sure it's fair to lay the ineptitude of the F.A's fit and proper persons test for potential new owners squarely on Barry Hearn's shoulders TBH unless you know something we don't :bag:

These are the same people that left Blackpool with absolute shitehawks in charge and allowed them to run a once financially sound and secure well run club into the ground (although i've no clue what their current status is) same with Venky's at Blackburn, the whole mess at Portsmouth under whatsisname when Redknapp was there, the list goes on...

Not having a pop i'm just pointing it out.

Hearn wouldn't have sold to the new owner if he knew what was going to happen. I don't think you can really blame him for how it's turned out.

Farewell to the Orient

That’s it then. The end of 112 years of playing in the football league. Leyton Orient gone. Not many people will care. We never won anything of note. Ever. All those Spurs and particularly Arsenal fans who bleat about how tough it is for them up there in LaLaLand will barely notice. Don’t get me started on West Ham, squatting in their big fancy (free gift from the tax payer) stadium next door like the massive bloke on the train who takes up two seats and uses up all the oxygen.

Gutted. Lived in Walthamstow and Leytonstone. Was a ball boy a few times when I played for the district.
Used to go when Spurs and the combination side were away.
My old man had a pub that was the hq of the fanzine boys.
Gutted.

It ain't over until it's over Mr. D. If the mafioso sells and they get decent owners they should be back in no time.
