In general, managers in France as well does not have the right sense of what a good team is, and that is the main reason why Lyon only finished 4th and Auxerre got relegated.

Also when you look at the squad Laurent Blanc selected. This is not the best french squad, in my opinion. I find it really strange that so many managers have a bad sense. That is why Spurs need to be very selective when they choose the next manager. It is very important to have a manager who has a good sense of what a good team is. Very few have this.
yet you do? so why aren't you doing your coaching badges and working towards coaching a team, start at the bottom and work your way up etc.
the reasons why these teams got relegated are because they were not good enough over the season, please don't argue they were as they were not, the players performed poorly(yes one or two were quite good here and there) but the rest were shit.
that's why they went down, now were any of the players good enough to represent their country after performing so poorly all season? no they are not. are any of them good enough to go from relegated teams to a team finishing fourth in the premier league? maybe one or two at most would make our squad if that.
maybe you need to have an unbiased look at what your saying and realize that people like Laurent Blanc are doing the job they do and you aren't is because your the one who is wrong?

I would say that we should sign a few players from the relegated french clubs.

Auxerre were relegated this year, but they have some really exciting players there. It is the team as a whole that is the reason for their relegation.

A player like Alain Traore is very good. I would also bring in young defender Willy Boly.

From Caen I would like us to sign young striker M'Baye Niang.

I think many of you would agree on this. At least I hope so.

Is that because there were some white players in the team?

Who do you want as next Spurs manager SK?
I find it hard to choose one actually.
For me it is not the manager who is the main thing. It is all about what kind of players we will sign.
I know that the most important thing for our future is the signings we make. If we do this right, we can have an unknown manager to do the job.

Who do you want us to sign? And sell?

Do they have to be fully black or are mixed-race players OK?

Is it Blaise Matuidi, because he's the only one that's really Patrick Vieira?

SK, I thought Remy was not in the squad because he's injured?
Matuidi because he is a good midfielder.
Yes, it is right that he is injured, unfortunately.

I was just telling the team I prefer.

Should this unknown manager be African (or of African descent) too?

I don't think there is too much wrong with signing players from relegated teams and in France they have well developed academies that have been producing talented players for quite some time. If the teams have been relegated it doesn't necessarily mean they don't have some talent that can be acquired. The case of M'Baye Niang for example. Around the time we signed Coulibaly we were also linked with a move for Niang, he was only 16 at the time and was already in the first team squad for Caen having done well at youth level (playing U19 football at the age of 15). There was a lot of buzz about his talent and a lot of big teams rumoured to be watching him. Whilst he didn't have a great season with Caen that doesn't mean he isn't a real talent, if he had been with us he wouldn't have been rushed into the starting lineup and would have been allowed to develop his game. But the rumoured price at that time was 8 million euros, which is pretty hefty for a 16 year old. Now they have been Caen have been relegated his price might have significantly dropped and I am sure Niang will leave and develop with another club.

That isn't me saying that we should just go and sign every player from the relegated French sides but there may be the odd case where we could find a talented player. SK is right though, some of the French managers aren't all the smart, in fact Caen are being managed by a Dumas.
