I can't see where the £52 tickets would be but considering i've paid £57 for flights & accommodation to pay almost the same just for the game is ludicrous

Still sounds good value to me. Lots of fans going will probably spend that much combined on food and drink while they are out there.

Don't care about the price but that is a considerable difference and we all know that no one sits in their seats... looking forward to some German larger and good few days away... COYS

Cologne - Alter Markt
Is this near where everyone will be drinking?

I'm getting a coach which I think drops us off at the stadium. I'm hoping we can either get dropped off in Cologne or just get a taxi or train over

That should be the place where most of the Spurs fans will be. Cologne is a bit closer to Leverkusen than Düsseldorf. The "alter Markt" has some good pubs around like Papa Joes. If the wether is fine, the river Rhein isn't too far away as well.
Heard from lots of people they will go there.

I've heard the same as apparently this is where the fans were last time we played out there

So are most people sitting with the home fans? What's the deal with that then, will they not check your accent at the gates?? Surprised they've sent tickets to the UK based folk to be honest?

Whats the latest time to arrive...My flight to Cologne arrives around 6PM. Would arriving to stadium at 7PM be ok ? Not been to a European away game before...Is there any specific place, we need to gather for fans in away section. Or is it simply, walk to the away section stand & get in ?

Leaving it a bit in case of delays etc but anytime will be fine to arrive at the stadium.

Spurs usually release a guide with advice on how/wheen/where to get to the stadium so keep an eye out for that (will post the link to it here if i see it) and then go from there

I think people have got round it by having them sent to people they know in other countries then sending them on. I've sat in the home end before and its key just to keep as quiet as possible and blend in with the locals (lederhosen optional). Just gather an idea of what the procedure is from a distance with regards to searches and comply with how it goes.

Think there are few in the home end but certainly the majority would be in the away end (2,300 approx)

European crowds aren't really like English where it gets really hostile and sometimes aggressive. I've sat in the home end at AC Milan and Real Madrid had no issue despite wearing colours.
One of the only blocks sold out on Bayers ticketing website is the one next to the away end. I'm pretty sure there's gunna be loads of Spurs in that block. Had no issue getting tickets at all, just brought them as normal and they were sent to me in the UK just to address @manic041's point

fair enough i had heard that they stopped a couple of sales to UK addresses and so people went via their mates in other countries but some people must've got away with it

Assuming there's no delays you'll be fine. Don't forget, kick off is 8:45pm German time because of the time difference.

A big thank you to the yids who put the Spurs tops over the gooner ones at stansted this morning at the JD shop. Would have been too much for my eyes after sleeping in the airport

Probably my missus! She works at the radisson Blu. Picks fights with any gooner. Not sure what I've created Tbh!
