he's not going to Real Madrid then, they have been investing in very young players recently , last established world class players they bought were James Rodriquez and Toni Kroos in 2014

they also need £500M + to improve their own stadium

I think i read somewhere that there's only one team he would leave us for. Didn't say who though. So I guess if said team are scared off with the price tag, he'll stay. Unless we pee'd him off due to the price tag blocking his move. Hopefully, no-one comes in and he signs.

I'd deal at £225,000,000
As long as it's reinvested entirely in the squad and not used to service debt.
That could be new contracts for existing players or signing new players.
We don't need to sign the Beatles, just a few well established or up and coming serious musicians.
