We do things differently, that's clear.

That's also the only way we can fight at the top of the league. If we copied everyone else's strategy we will just end up 6th, as money wins in a straight up fight.

We take risks and so far over the last 15 years they have paid off more often than not.

Hopefully this does too.

We've made history but the important thing is that we didn't lose any of our top players. ?

Ah well. Nobody likes change.

Atletico didn't sign anyone last summer because of their transfer ban - last season improved league position from 3rd to 2nd, and won the Europa League (albeit because they flopped in the Champions League).

Wasn't any disaster for them, and I do believe it won't be a disaster for us.

@absolute bobbins I saw your condescending post in the ITK thread about buying a ticket not giving you a stake in the club. Do you know what a stakeholder is? Genuine question, because as a business owner, you should know that customers are one of the key stakeholders. We might not all own shares in the club, but a stake? Absolutely.

So either you don’t know what a stakeholder is, or you made a typo? Here’s a simple little graph I found online that might be helpful in the future.

100% correct

If everyone does not renew their ST, see where they go

We are here for the football first and foremost - end of story.

Football isn’t about transfers, your so overly obsessed it’s unhealthy. I swear you guys learn nothing. If here was nobody worth getting I’d rather sign nobody going buy our past attempts at signing filler.

Pretty obvious the plan all along was to spend fuckall and plough the club's footballing profits into the stadium.

All a bit disgusting when you consider how much money Enic will walk away with when they sell up.

Regardless of your stance on the window, sadly, we're a bit of a laughing stock at the moment.

It was always disappointing in the MULTIPLE windows in the last 14 years I've been on this forum for us to leave our business to the last minute and be let down way more often than not, but to not have any signings coming in is really hard to take. It could be argued that our lack of activity increases our risk of dropping out of the Top 4 this season.

The only thing to save face a bit is announcing something for January or next year already IMO, which I'm doubtful will happen.

I also hope there's nothing from DL....if he makes a statement over this palava again, it'll be face-tearingly cringey.

We've certainly been brave and taken a huge risk by not bringing in any new faces but I'm not sure any of us were expecting this! It could be a masterstroke or a unmitigated disaster, either way the dye is cast and we have no option other than getting behind the team and not being negative. We've kept all our best players and also against all odds kept Toby. COYS ??❤
